Teddy Ruxpin 2.0 — or 3.0, or Whatever

Teddy Ruxpin has been remade so many times since scoring 1985 “toy of the year” honors that it’s hard to keep track of just what his current iteration may be — even harder when you consider that our kids have no idea the toy existed in the first place. No matter: To us, there’ll always be just one animatronic storytelling teddy bear, and Teddy is his name. Nice to see that his stories have progressed beyond cassette-tape format, though — the kids wouldn’t have the slightest idea what to do with that stuff.
