Star Dad: Jon Gosselin and His $400 Sneakers

Once just a mere mortal who just happened to have eight kids, Jon Gosselin is now a celebrity star. Talk shows, magazine covers and countless blogs have lavished attention on the star of Jon and Kate Plus Eight.

Currently, Jon has halted production of the show after being kicked off the series. He said he is worried about his kids welfare but it sounds more like he’s worried about his paychecks. And with his new penchant for wearing $400 sneakers, he’s gotta keep those dollars rolling in. Here Jon wears a pair of Gucci GG logo Wide Strip Sneakers. These designer kicks retail for $395 but you can get a similar pair (with a different color strip) from Bluefly here for $316.

Spendy sneakers does not warrant sympathy.
