7 Days of Store It: Pull It Out

The space under my daughter’s bed is quickly becoming the ONLY place left for storing things that are useful to anyone other than her (read: sheets, mementos from babydom. . . anything that has value to mom). But with motherhood has also come a lot less flexibility, and boxes under the bed aren’t as easy to reach as they used to be.

That’s reason numero uno I picked up a box from Reisenthel to stick under the kid bed – it’s got an easy grab handle for Mom . . . or kid. The “large” boxes are also deceptively, well, large. Low-to-the-ground, they’ll fit under a bed, and collapse slightly so that means any bed, but that felexibility makes them easier to stuff full of stuff.

The boxes also earn parenting points for zipping shut. Many of the under-the-bed boxes I found in my search for 7 days of store it featured a solid box (not so good for lower beds) with a on/off lid (not so good for kids who like to remove the lid . . . and use it as a toy).
