ABC Kids Expo 2009: Multi-Use Art Easel From P’Kolino

One thing I love is when a company takes an object for children and, through a simple little twist, gives the object a whole new function. The Multi-Use Art Easel from P’Kolino is just that thing. It’s a standard art easel, but it also doubles as a small puppet show theater. An awesome idea to be sure, but it gets better.

The way it works is, the board on the business side of the easel can be removed and flipped – one side for chalk the other a standard “white board”. But that same piece can be placed in between the legs on the front, blocking the view of your small puppeteer. There are also two framed scenes that come with the easel that your kids can color and place around the puppet show action. These scenes are actually part of the box that the thing is shipped in, saving extra cardboard. Awesome.
