Twilight Game Coming to DVD Players, Consoles

That sound you hear is the collective gasp of millions of teens, who’ve just learned that the upcoming Scene It? Twilight DVD board game is also hitting video-game consoles this fall.

Arriving on Wii and Nintendo DS sometime before the Nov. 20 theatrical release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Scene It? Twilight presents a slightly different spin on the interactive trivia game. You can use your Wii Remote to buzz in and trounce opponents in over 500 multiple-choice questions about the Twilight movie — and if you’d prefer a little alone time to watch Edward Cullen sparkle, the game also features a single-player mode.

Of course, the DVD version of the game is no slouch, either: Scene It? Twilight Deluxe Edition (pictured above) also features on-screen puzzles, movie clips, sound bites, music and trivia questions pulled from the first Twilight movie. Also, whether you immerse yourself in the new puzzle types or the bonus features and activities (e.g., “Which Cullen are You?”), you’ve got all the ingredients for a Twilight-themed party. (Parents, we can practically hear you whooping with joy at the idea.)
