ABC Kids Expo 2009: WallCandy Smarts Wall Decals Are For Your Baby To Look At

When most of us design our new baby’s room, we think about what the baby might like, but really it’s all about what we want to see in a nursery. The new “Smarts” design from WallCandy is approaching nursery decor from a different perspective – what will the baby really want to look at?

For those that are unfamiliar with WallCandy, they make decals that go up on walls that can be removed and placed into different locations. The cool thing about it is, you can change your mind (or more importantly maybe, your child can change their mind). The Smarts design is also intended to change as your baby changes. At first, you put up the black and white stickers near the crib. Then as your baby gets older you can add colors and change the scene itself stimulating the baby further. Finally, you can add pictures of your own face and faces of family members.

It’s a simple idea, but one that looked really cool to me.
