ABC Kids Expo 2009: Quinny Debuts The Quinny Senzz Stroller

quinny senzz ABC Kids Expo 2009: Quinny Debuts The Quinny Senzz Stroller

The new stroller offering from Quinny this year is the Senzz, a semi-compact folding stroller in the $400 price range. Aside from the cheaper price, new gun metal finish and curved lines, the big difference from the current Quinny Buzz seems to be that it folds up with one hand (though you really have to get the hang of it judging by watching another convention-goer try to do it on the show floor).

Like all Quinny strollers,  it will work with current Quinny add-ons like the Dreami Bassinet as well as the Maxi Cosi Mico car seat. [Apparently only the Quinny Senzz and Buzz are compatible with the Dreami Bassinet. However all three Quinny strollers are compatible with the Maxi-Cosi Mico infant car seat. -cf]

It’s also the first stroller from Quinny that will launch in the US and Europe simultaneously. Expect to see it around June 2010 at a price around $399.99.

There is no info available in the web site yet, but you can check out their other strollers at Quinny.com

I live in Germany and was able to purchase my Quinny Senzz, and let me tell you, the quality has dropped down considerably with this model. It is not worth the price. It is lightweight, yes, about the same as the Zapp. And on the other ‘plus’ side, comparing it to the Zapp, is that the seat reclines to 5 positions .. but the seat is very hard and uncomfortable (not at all like the Buzz), and the wheels are of such poor design! I would pay only $100 for this stroller .. does not compare to its Luxury stroller counterparts by any means .. Very disappointed about this purchase :-(

Today I bought a quinny senzz in Lithuania. And I am very pleased with it. First of all I will say that I have quinny buzz 3 and Emaljungma. So, know what it is comfort and good movement and comfort. He clearly ride, but senzz is not worse when buzz 3 It ride easily and it is easy to manage. My 8 months old daughter felt great in it. I don’t understand why you didn’t like the wheels, like all Quinny, the landing gear excellent, transportation comfortable, modern and beautiful. Offers us, and other high-cost strolers, but none of them it does not appear so, as a Quinny senzz. We really liked it!
