It’s lined with fleece so would be comfortable and warm for the season. The snaps are on the back and the booties are separate from the outfit.

I’m not sure realistically if my baby would want to wear this for long. She hates anything on her head and might not like her hands covered. At least on that part of the costume, the flaps do open up to reveal the hands.
