Dinosaur duds are a dime a dozen, but we couldn’t pick just any for 7 days of dinosaurs. Lucky for you, we came up with the T Rex of the dino clothing world. Let’s get dressed:
Every little bit helps when you’re trying to get the kids dressed for school in the early morning hours. And if their socks don’t HAVE to match, well, that’s a little bit of help. A big fan of Little Miss Matched, I picked up a three-some of dino socks for a friend’s new son, only to find my daughter wanted some for herself. The unisex sets are perfect for days when they need a dino but he’s not quite right for the occasion. No one has to know he’s hiding down below. Get a set for your tot for $8 for sizes 4 to 10 or $20 for a baby pack of nine socks.
Throw out the matches (kids shouldn’t have them anyway) and let the dinosaur light the candles on the cupcakes this year. This fun tee from Liliputians-NYC sports a dino tail snaking up the back out of your little creature’s behind. Handmade, every tee looks a little different, but you can get it for $39.95 from size 6 months to 8.
If you think dinosaurs are just for boys, you’re still living in a pre-historic age. Thank goodness for the Prehistoric Pink hoodie from Planet Pudge. A chocolate brown sweatshirt from American Apparel sets off the bright pink dino stomping across her little chest (although you can get a blue one too . . . if you must). And while we’re busting down some dino-sized myths, check out her chest – these dinosaurs aren’t the thoughtless creatures of legends. They’ve got big hearts too. Get them for $34.
