This backpack is classic. It’s simple, stylish and totally international. The randoseru backpack is a “cultural icon” in Japan where almost all the school kids utlize them. It’s become a symbol for “school days”. The strudy and boxy design can carry oodles of books, notebooks and snacks. This version was created by famed luggage designer Hideo Wakamatsu who’s one of the leading providers of these bags in Japan. Although they are usually made of leather, this version has been refashioned in a lightweight and weather resistant polyurethane.
But this one ain’t cheap, it will last a long long time and it just happens to be half off. The backpack is usually $399 but is on sale for $199. But it’s so well made and sturdy that it will last for years and years of classes.
