This summer I happen to have a very pale five-month-old accompanying me on my outdoor adventures. At this age babies can’t wear sunscreen and rather than dress him in long sleeves and pants that will make him sweat, I tested out the Peekaru Ozone for a particularly long walk through the neighborhood in the Baby Björn.
Success! He seemed to dig it (or at least wasn’t bothered by the moisture-wicking fabric draping over him). And I knew I wasn’t going to find a lobster-hued tot under that soft cover once we arrived home, as the Peekaru peeps say it blocks 95% of UVA and UVB rays.
The Peekaru easily slips over and snaps on the Björn and it can also be used over a car seat.

At a certain point my back does begin to scream with a big baby in a Björn and I switch to the Ergo – luckily the Peekaru does too. - April Peveteaux
