Improve Your Tot’s Speech

My son, JD, is approaching two and that means he’s approaching a well-checkup where a nurse will say: “So, how many words can your son say? Is he putting sentences together? Can he do calculus?” OK, I kid, on the last one! Still, it’s stressful! That’s why I got my hands on a great vocabulary builder: Baby Bumblebee Flash cards and DVDs. We’re on volume 1 and JD loves to play “the card game.” Each card has a picture of something on it, say a plane. On the back, there are questions you can ask your child regarding a plane. “Where do planes travel?” “What do planes carry?” JD said cookies one time. A plane full of cookies–amazing!
