Hmmmm, I’m not sure if the word “marker” and the word “baby” should ever been used in the same sentence. Markers seem to be messy, even for my older son who is almost five. I like the concept of these chubby little markers, but are they really a smart idea?
First, the shape works for little hands. Second, the washable part. Third, they are weighted so if they tip they will up right themselves. Fourth, the characters are cute. Fifth, they don’t require caps. What do you think? TaDoodles, terrific idea or a huge mess waiting to happen?

They are cute. They do stay upright like a weeble. However, when the ink comes out, it really comes out. Pools actually. And it stays wet long enough to run and get all over hands, arms, and potentially other body parts. I intially thought it was isolated to one particular marker. Nope. They all do that. If one wants to have more adventure than what crayons allow, then they would be would be better off with just regular markers.
I tried these markers and the crayon ones too. My 2 year old twins boys were somehow able to eat the marker and crayon parts in about 2 minutes. I thought they were a great idea but unfortunately my kids were too clever and by-passed the intended use to find a way to consume them. VERY MESSY. We also used the stampers — which were cute but only my 4 year old could figure out how to use them.
