First Look: Britax Blink Stroller

Britax, a huge player in the car seat world, is aiming to take some of the share of the stroller category. This summer, they rolled out two new rides. We got an up close and personal look at the Blink.

The Blink weighs in at 16 lbs.–a bit heavy for the lightweight category. It’s got a sturdy frame and some thoughtful details, such as the wide canopy with big peak-a-boo window. We think the five colors/prints are fun and love the modern look of the green and black “Sprout” version.  It’s a simple stroller to fold and carry, making it a good choice for travel.

We’d like to see the brakes improved and a better basket (and maybe 2-3 lbs trimmed off the weight)–overall this is a well-priced set of wheels and we imagine with the Britax name, this stroller will last. Available at Amazon for $149.99 (not $179.99 as stated in the YouTube clip).
