The idea of socks that stay on a baby’s foot is good enough, but throw in a little quirk to flummox the dryer gnomes, and I’m hooked.
Stay With Me socks have a loop across the backs, made for Velcro-ing tighter to keep them on teeny weeny baby feet. As the kids grow (or you want to take them off), just loosen the loop. Simple enough – and makes more sense than those awful elastic bands at the top that leave deep red rings ’round their ankles.
Even better, though, is the second use for the loop – stick the strap from one sock around the strap from the other, and you’ve got a matched set of socks ready for the wash. And ready to fight the dryer gnomes.
Most of Stay With Me’s socks are available in newborn to three months, but a few are available in sizes up to 14 months as well. Get them for $5.49 at Stay With Me’s site. Keep your eyes out – they’re headed for Target soon.
