Shred the Streets

shred sled Shred the Streets I thought four wheels, one board and my klutziness was bad. Then I took the Shred Sled for a ride. A new version of the old inline skateboard, it’s got two decks instead of one, four wheels instead of two.

And can I just say every part of my body now hurts? But the kids in the neighborhood are eyeing me up in a whole new way. Because technically it’s designed for them (but I really wasn’t putting my four-year-old up there to try it out the way I do with most of the products I test for Droolicious!).

With a flexible connector in the middle of the two decks, it’s relatively easy to maneuver once you stop being a chicken and let go of the wall (hey, that’s how they told me to start), and it’s a full body workout (bye bye childhood obesity).

Bonus points  for coming already assembled (the only “parts” in the box was an extra allen key for tightening if need be), this is a compromise for parents who aren’t crazy about the skateboard but want to let their kids get out there and shred. Get it from Amazon for $98.95.
