Sneak Peek! Nicole Richie’s New Maternity Line

This Friday August 7th, Nicole Richie will be able to cross off  “become maternity clothing designer” off her to-do list. Expecting her second child, Nicole Richie has designed a line for up-scale maternity super store Pea in The Pod. We wrote about the line the other day but that was before photos of the pieces in the line were being leaked to us, the awaiting public. Here are three photos of Richie modeling examples from the line of very boho, very Hollywood, very Nicole Richie-ish pieces.

Richie told People that, “Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women. They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited and eager to do it.”

She noted that while pregnant that, “You really feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe. And that’s the last thing a woman wants to go through. So I really tried to make this line to get women excited about wearing clothes.” She continued, “It feels great to see everything come to life. It’s the best feeling in the world to have your visions and dreams coming together. I’m so excited for people to see them. I just hope that people like it.”

The “Nicole” line will be prices from $48 for a tank to $148 for one of her maxidresses.
