Spit-up: Sonia Rykiel Striped Tights

I totally get why one might be tempted to buy these Sonia Rykiel Enfant black and pink tights for a stripe-loving little girl. I especially understand why one might be tempted to pair these striped tights with a goofy black and pink sweater-dress-cum-cocktail-dress. I mean, it’s a fun outfit, and little girls just want to have fun, right?

But, people, I gasp at the price tag. $69 for tights. Swarovski crystal-accented tights, but still. Little girls’ tights last as long as picnic baskets in Jellystone National Park. $69? Seriously?
