Little Girl’s Barrettes Find New Life
It may be because I have no hair that I never imagined my daughter’s barrettes (or “clippies”) any other way. Or maybe I’m just not the crafty sort (guilty!!).
But this may be the cutest reimagining of little girl’s barrettes I have ever seen.
Squirrel Bunny owner Jessica fixes vintage-style barrettes to sterling silver pieces she’s filed to match, and “upcycles” old hair goodies as jewelry for little girls, moms or just about anybody (the chains are usually 16″, but if you shoot her a message, she can adjust).
She sticks to the retro styles – like the old Goody clippies we wore back in the day that are now popping up in little girl’s locks around town. They’re stuck on silver, and we’re stuck on them, so get them over at Squirrel Bunny’s shop on Etsy.
