Look Who Just Opened Up a Can O Worms in the Pool

can o worms 300x300 Look Who Just Opened Up a Can O Worms in the PoolPublic pool use means finding cheap toys (as in inexpensive enough to lose) with more than one piece so more than one kid can play. Oh yeah, and it’s got to be big on fun.

It sounded like a tough order, but I’ve found luck with Swimways in the past, so I put in a request for their new Can O Worms, an underwater version of the barrell of monkeys.

At $4.69 a set, with six linking worms, they fit the first two criteria, and when I let the kids loose in the pool, I realized I’d opened a literal can of worms . . . competition was fast, furious and totally fun (phew). Designed for the six and up crowd, they have to be willing to put their face underwater, but this is one of those use it in the deep end OR the shallow end pool toys – making it an all-around crowd pleaser.

Play catch without taking out an eye, time who can hook their own worm underwater in the fastest time or set up your own game – this is one of those toys that earns its stripes with simplicity that opens the door to adventure.
