It’s a good thing that swimming, playing in the sprinklers, water balloon fights — well pretty much any outside summer activity — is so fun, because without the payoff, I’m not sure if I could face the painful ritual of slathering my kids in sunscreen. The spray-on sunblocks have alleviated things a bit, but there’s still the trauma of protecting their perfect little squirmy faces. My kids (and I!) are in constant fear that I’ll get sunscreen in their eyes whilst “liberally applying” the face lotions. Fear not, MD Moms (Products Developed by Pediatrician Moms) have come up with the easiest way to get the stuff all over. Their Baby Silk Baby Safe Sunscreen Towelettes are very soft and filled with 30+ sunscreen that contains vitamins E and B5, marine silk (wow!), aloe and oat.The package claims that one wipe is enough to cover an entire baby, head to foot. I believe it because I used one wipe (total) to cover the faces and arms of my 3 and 5 year old daughters. There was no fight putting it on and, even better, no one got burned. The first wipe feels like a leap of faith because the sunscreen it goes on invisible. Also, my previous connotations with wipes is getting stuff off, not putting it on. But believe me, these convenient, mess-free little towels work!
