Mabel’s Labels, a Droolicious regular, recently unveiled a new addition to its labeling line: Teeny Tags. Measuring 2 cm by 3 cm, these tiny metal tags can hold up 60 characters of information that can easily hang off backpacks, lunch bags or anything you can slide the loop though. The tags, unlike labels, offer a removable naming solution. Why would you need a temporary label? Travel, for one and hand-me-downs for another. If you rotate travel gear and bags between family members, you might not want a sticky label designating a permanent owner. Ditto if you’re hoping those backpacks, pencil cases, sleeping bags and other stuff from kid No. 1 can go to kid No. 2 (or 3 or 4). Another bonus: If you pop a phone number on Teeny Tags, they can double as an in-case-of-emergency contact info if someone wanders off or gets hurt. Teeny Tags come in groups of six for $18.50 in green, rasberry or teal.
