Gap Maternity has a new section on their site called “Hospital Bag Help”. This is a great idea and I only have a few problems with the items they chose. Most of the women shown wearing the clothes don’t look pregnant, for one thing. I know I still looked pregnant after having my first baby. Some of the infant bodysuits aren’t side snap and I thought everyone used side snap shirts on newborns. Also, don’t you need to use t-shirts, not bodysuits on babies who still have the umbilical cord stump? It is nice having a place you can purchase all your hospital bag needs, though. More items I would add to the site would be a travel bag of toiletries and a nursing pillow. I do really like the robe they chose (see photo above) in soft, cotton jersey. It’s not easy finding a nice, light-weight robe for summer. Just remember to order it in a size large. (I would need an extra large!)
