7 Days of Kid’s Bedding: Serena & Lily

serenalily1 7 Days of Kids Bedding: Serena & Lily

Bedtime can be a magical journey to some beautiful and very sweet dreams. One way to pave the road for your child’s voyage to slumber is with a gorgeous bedding set.  Serena & Lily creates elegant linens for little ones with a wide range of patterns from the subtle to the stunning to the sensational.

We had the opportunity to test out the art nouveau inspired Delphine Duvet, Heather Pebble Sheets and Mocha Trellis Sham.  All cotton, all smooth and all in soothing tones. And all fabulous.

The Delphine Duvet cover is made from a 300 thread count 100% cotton – a smooth, soft and high quality canvas for the delicate design. The pattern features a subtle peacock pattern with a lotus like floral details on a heather (a pale lavender) hued shade with hints of a mocha brown. The edges of the cover have a light brown linen piping. The cover has ample room for the fluffiest of comforters.  And if your child has a thing for peacocks, they may end giving each and every one a name…just like mine did (my personal favorite – Peachy the Peacock). The cover is available here for $179.

The Heather Pebble Sheet Set also is made of a smooth 300 thread count 100% cotton fabric. This sheet set is made of a crisp white with varying shades of heather dots that look like hand painted dollops of watercolor. This twin set comes with flat sheet, a fitted sheet and one standard pillow case.  The fitted sheet has a snug and easy fit on a standard 14”  twin mattress (I love it when sheets fit perfectly!). The Heather Pebble Sheet Set is available here for $129.

To accent the bed with a bit more cushy-ness, you can throw in a couple pillows with some Serena & Lily coordinated euro shams. The Delphine sham above  highlights the peacocks pattern that is a reflection of the duvet cover. $78 here.

The high quality of these linens mean that they can be used for years and years and are made with the kind of cotton that just gets better as you wash and use them. And the timeless style means they’ll always be in style.

The one drawback? You’ll totally get bedding envy and will yearn for a set you’re your own bed.  But luckily, Serena & Lily makes bedding for us real big kids too. You can check out the adult collection right here.
