The Grand Tour takes aim at Bugaboo.
Forget about tidy little collapsable strollers. The latest wheels from Maclaren are meant for serious road trips, er, long walking trips with baby. The brand new Grand Tour LX ($900) has a awesome features just for the parents, like running lights (activated by a remote), a wireless pedometer, weather panel and a very stable drink holder.
Babes are treated to a cushy ride thanks to over-sized wheels and a wide base.  The seat is reversible to accommodate baby in a forward or rear-facing position and the stroller comes with snap-in bassinet that holds up to 19 pounds of baby.
The styling is still classic Maclaren (pick from four colors with champagne accents). We found the stroller very sturdy (thansk to the one-peice construction) and posh on our test stroll at the Maclaren flagship store in Soho. It’s a tad bukly to be sure, but the looks and feel of these wheels won us over.
