I love Boggle! When I was pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I played an excessive amount of the classic game. Needless to say, I can not wait to challenge my daughter to a rousing round of Boggle. But I’ll have to wait. She’s only three. But a what’s a good way to get her started? With Hasbro’s Boogle Jr.. There isn’t much similarity between Boggle Jr. and the Boggle I know and love. But she will get a feeling for a spelling game and with utilizing the same six sided lettered dice.

A big bonus with Boggle Jr.? It’s educational. This game suitable for ages 3 to 6 years. The focus of the game is for letter recognition – the player matches letter cubes to the picture and word cards. There are three and four letter words for a different kind of challenge. Once they’ve conquered matching the letters, you can cover up the word on the card and see if they can spell the word out themselves, making this game great for different levels of spelling talent.

You can pick up a version of the game from Amazon here for $20.36.
