Swimming Just Got a Lot Softer

As if learning to swim wasn’t hard enough on a little kid, those puffy armbands are a big pain in the neck – usually.

Throw a soft fabric covering on them that looks like a shark, and swimmies just got a lot more fun.

I’m sure some people will be freaked out by the shark idea, but the Fishbites from Swim Ways made my daughter and her buddies giggle hysterically, and pulling these up and down the arm was a lot easier than the old vinyl version.

Meant for kids three to five, be aware you have to blow up both sides of each swimmie lest you experience the “too big” arm holes of the reviewer over at Amazon (with either side of the shark’s mouth filled with air, they fit my four-year-old just fine). Get a set from Amazon for $9.74.
