Last week, I blogged about one of the most popular cribs around, the Kalani Crib. This week I want to mention another popular item from DaVinci, the Parker 2 Door Changing Table.
Motherhood is a lot of trial and error, so my own personal diaper-changing experiences tell me this is a great option. First, I like the fact that this pieces looks a bit more sleek and contemporary due to the lines. It isn’t a babyish-looking piece so it will last well beyond the nursery years.
Second, I like the cradled changing area. It provides just a bit more security, which is nice while you’re dealing with a squirmy baby. (Although if you have a big child, his or her head will start bumping those ends before you know it.) This piece has plenty of storage too. Some parents like diaper stations with open shelves, but I like cabinet doors to keep things looking neat & tidy.
You can easily switch out the knobs for decorative ceramic knobs to add more fun. It comes in five different color options – White, Coffee, Natural, Cherry and Oak. If you’re shopping on a budget – and most of us are these days – this is a nice looking option for about $220. You can find it at BabyEarth.
