football 200x300 11 Ways Pregnancy is Just Like FootballIn case you have missed all the media and commercials, this weekend is the biggest football game of the season, the Super Bowl.

While I could hardly care less who wins the game, except, well, I really dislike Tom Brady, so technically I care a little, I’m still going to go to a party and watch with friends. Granted, this year there will be a lot more lemonade and no fun drinks, but I imagine we’ll still have a ball. (Get it?)

But as I am gearing up for the game, I started to realize that pregnancy is a bit like football. I mean, my physique basically matches that of the entire offensive line and this whole “season” of pregnancy is leading up to one big day. When you get down to it, the two have a lot in common.

Everyone wants to touch it
Have you ever seen how mad receivers get when they're not being passed to during a game? I imagine it's similar to how I feel when strangers walk up and touch me without permission. From now on I'm just going to grope them right back. Fair is fair.
