Being Pregnant
12 Thought-Provoking Breastfeeding Campaigns
I am a big advocate for breastfeeding and it’s actually one thing I really miss about no longer having a newborn around. I breastfed Babe E until she was just over 2 years old — letting her wean herself. I loved the bond, the ease and would do it again in a second.
I am fortunate to live in an area where breastfeeding is supported. It’s not overly-supported which you see sometimes too (I formula fed my older two kids) so I never felt any judgement on either end. There are some areas where breastfeeding is not supported and along with that the benefits may not be as widespread understood.
Campaigns started by governments and non profit organizations have been popping up lately to help increase the breastfeeding support and awareness. Some are funny, some are thought provoking and some might go a bit far.

Jaina commented on Jan 16 12 at 1:02 pmI love the idea behind these. I loved the breastfeed in public ones where the mom was discretely breastfeeding, but the last one kinda disturbed me because it was so sexual looking with the ledord print bra. IDK I just think that most BF mom’s don’t want creepy guys looking at their boobs as sexual when they are breastfeeding. Also #3 looks like a boob squirting milk to me. It came off as really weird to me. Regardless I still love what they are trying to do!
