Being Pregnant
My Favorite Maternity Clothes Source
I was under the impression that finding cute maternity clothes would be a lot easier than it really is. I haven’t reached the nothing-fits-anymore stage but I’ve definitely reached that-top-is-not-flattering-anymore stage. I’ve returned countless of online orders but there is one shop I keep on ordering from (three times in the last week!) and I figured you’d like to know about it too. I first became a fan of Shade a few years ago for their basic, longer length, layering tees and have now decided their basic maternity tees are my best friend. I just order them in every color and wear them under cardigans. Maternity wardrobe problem solved. Take a look at some of my fave affordable picks from the shop. Did I mention they offer free shipping both ways? Bonus!

Heather commented on Dec 16 11 at 8:36 amThese clothes are really cute, but would have been too expensive for me when I was pregnant. I had a lot of luck with Old Navy maternity clothes. I always bought them online, and never had a problem. They offer free shipping with orders of $50 or more. And you can usually find an promo code for a discount.
Melanie commented on Dec 16 11 at 9:59 amThank you for this! I’m 26 weeks and growing by the second (at least it feels that way!) and the clothes I’ve been wearing aren’t really working anymore… although Liz Lange Maternity tank tops and cardigans have been a lifesaver. Also, check out asos.com. They have some cute, trendy, maternity clothes.
Carly P commented on Dec 17 11 at 1:30 pmI just found this new service (www.fashionforwardmaternity.com) that rents designer maternity clothes–they have a great selection and let you exchange your clothes every couple months for different items. Best of all, you get to send the clothes back when you’re done with them so no more storing boxes of old maternity clothes in your closet!
Lashley commented on Dec 18 11 at 4:22 pmWhile not maternity, the Threads4Thought brand (I get mine at Whole Foods) tees are really long. The basic short sleeves are just $10, but they have some more style-y ones that are a bit more expensive.
