Being Pregnant
It’s a ….
BOY! Right when the ultrasound tech told us, I took one look at my husband and said, “Called it!”
I know you’re supposed to ignore all the old wives’ tales but when I wasn’t sick at all I just had a hunch that this little buddy was a boy and have declared so ever since. I come from a family of seven girls so once my hunch was confirmed my immediate thought was, “What in the world am I going to do with a boy?!” But then I remembered all my nephews whom I love dearly and got very excited. Boys are the best. At least that’s what I hear.
Now off to Old Navy for some mini striped outfits.

BTW, this is my second boy, and I can definitely say that being a mom to boys is AWESOME!

nancy commented on Nov 18 11 at 4:30 pmboys ARE the best! just had my lil jack 2 months ago and he’s such a BOY. like, there’s no doubt about it. i also had a gut feeling that’s what i was having and wasn’t sick at all. we love dressing him in little man outfits. my fave? an adorable plaid oshkosh b’gosh button down flannel shirt with corduroy elbow patches and rolled sleeves from target!

At first having a boy sounded a bit intimidating (I mean, what did I know about trains and dinosaurs?), but now, almost two years down the road, it is FANTASTIC! You will have so much fun with your little guy :)

I have two sons who are 4 and almost-3. I remember thinking the same thing when we found out my 4 y.o. was a boy, “What will I do with a boy?!” But I cannot tell you how much fun it is being a mother to sons. It comes far more naturally than I expected. Playing cars and dinosaurs is a blast.
I am in my 24th week, with a girl…and after having two darling little boys, I am now asking myself, “What am I going to do with a girl??!!”.Blessings!
