il 570xN.117909844 231x300 Vintage Maternity Clothes: Yes or No?I told you earlier today about my 10 favorite vintage shops for babies (and why I love the idea of dressing kids in clothes with history!), but what about vintage maternity clothes?

We talk a lot about how maternity clothes aren’t what they used to be; about how on-trend the maternity fashion world is now. Yet there are over 1,000 different vintage maternity items listed on Etsy.

So what do you think? Would you ever consider buying your maternity wear from vintage shops?

Take a look at some of the selection and then tell us: yes or no?

Vintage 70s Granny Neck Tie, $30
This top (sold by the Etsy shop Mamma Belly Love Design) is from the late 70s/early 80s. Not quite as vintage as some of the other options, but it still has some history. SHOP here.

A lot of the vintage maternity on Etsy includes sewing patterns and dresses you can alter. What do you think?
