Being Pregnant
Best and Worst Thing About Your Hospital Stay After Birth—A Twitter Round-Up
With just a couple of weeks to go before I find myself once again in the hospital to give birth I can’t help but think about my experience the first time around.
It was kind of excellent.
The food was good—I was told by the hospital staff that people sometimes come to the hospital cafeteria just to eat. I somehow lucked out and had a huge double room all to myself during my entire stay—which meant my husband had a bed of his own and could sleep comfortably during our time there. Plus, there was plenty of space for visitors.
Of course there is always a flip side and if I had to mention the bad it would probably be how long they left the needle for the IV in my hand (it was days and not hooked up to anything), one staff member left a bad taste in my mouth with her attitude, and the fact that I had to show proof of going to the bathroom.
For the most part it was a good experience. I’m hoping for much of the same this time. I doubt I will get such an awesome room again but a girl can dream.
I love hearing your experiences with pregnancy and birth so once again I turned to Twitter for your stories. This time I asked, “What was the best or worst thing about your hospital stay after giving birth?”
Find out after the jump.
