Being Pregnant
Tuesday Tweets: Moms Share Their Biggest Pregnancy Meltdowns
I dont know what is going on with me recently, but I seriously cannot stop crying. Something bad happens? Tears. Something good happens? Tears. Nothing at all happens… still tears.
My first trimester was rather weepy as well, but I figured that was just my pregnancy hormones kicking in and making me slightly crazy. Then things seemed to mellow out for the second trimester and I felt like my normal, relatively sane self again. Now here I am in week 29 and suddenly my hormones are raging again.
Some of my freakouts have been understandable, like finding out that I failed my initial gestational diabetes test. Others have been less predictable, like when I suddenly broke down in the kitchen to my husband weeping “can you believe we’re really going to have a baaaaaabaaay?”
Sigh, it happens. I asked other moms and expecting moms on Twitter what some of their biggest pregnancy meltdowns have been. The answers will make you laugh and nod your head in an “oh yes I’ve been there” kind of way. It helps to know we are not alone, and not really crazy. See 10 hilarious (and some sentimental) meltdowns here…

I can’t even remember the outrageous multitude of reasons I cried while pregnant (gotta love how nature blocks almost everything out), but I am STILL an outrageous cryer 6 months pp! I cry for the Pampers commercial about how every baby is a miracle, when I hear “Never Grow Up” by Taylor Swift, and today… when I was watching Super Sweet 16 and the boy said he wanted to look sexy and his mom was like ::blink blink:: “You’re my baby”. I totally teared up.
