Being Pregnant
Amazing Ultrasound Photos From Around The Web
When I was pregnant I could stare at ultrasound pictures all day long. I even took to Googling sonograms of strangers to see what my baby looked like at that exact moment.
Like, when I was 30 weeks along I’d Google “ultrasound, 30 weeks” and stare at the images, daydreaming about the little one inside of me, wondering what he or she looked like.
I decided to round up some of the coolest ultrasound images from around the web and man, are there some cool pictures. Not all are 4D, I included a couple that were just too cool to leave out, like a fetus flashing the peace sign. There are also some before birth/after birth shots that are really neat to see.
So, check ‘em out after the jump!
What happens when the sonogram photo isn’t as great as you hoped?

Ali commented on Jul 18 11 at 8:44 amWell I hope it is just a monthly hormone surge, but this makes me want another baby. Which would be insane as I am just getting a grip now that #2 is a year old and #1 is potty trained. My bank account says we can’t have #3 now anyway….but this is killing me.
Meg W. commented on Jul 18 11 at 10:21 amFor some reason I can’t get into these 3D ultrasounds. I am pregnant now and I don’t think you could pay me to get such an alien creepy picture… although these are actually a lot cuter than most that I have seen I have to admit. Many that I’ve seen are so scary!
Erin commented on Jul 18 11 at 3:06 pmOMG, my thirty-something body cannot handle this. It wants babies, damn it!
amy commented on Jul 19 11 at 2:17 pmI agree with Meg, I think they are scary too.
Really commented on Aug 02 11 at 11:34 amUm. Some of these have the personal information of the owners of the photos on them. I dont know why babble allows people to just display whatever photos they find in a google search. Some of the photos are obviously photo shop worthy as well.
Scared commented on Aug 02 11 at 1:33 pmI think it’s kind of scary that you would take other people’s ultrasound pictures that they were trying to share with their family and put them on here and now also making them the property of babble. It’s also a little scary that you stalk strangers ultrasounds.
sara commented on Aug 02 11 at 4:02 pmomg , makes me wanna see my little man right now , 2 weeks to go and i am so ready !!!!
Janell commented on Aug 02 11 at 7:45 pmI have a peace sign picture of my first baby too! I also have some great 3D ones of her. My second wouldn’t ever show his face (and we had more than 10 sonos!) until the last one and he was all smashed and asleep. He looks angry that the tech kept messing with him trying to wake him up. He loved showing that he was a boy though. Every single time he had his legs wide open and kept rolling past the wand.
migfalia cortes de figueroa commented on Aug 04 11 at 6:51 amAmazing this is fabulous!! La tecnologia esta tan avanzada es glorioso poder ver a nuestros bebes tan claritos .
Tami commented on Aug 04 11 at 6:26 pmI also think it is a little scary/creepy that you googled for sonograms and used people’s with their personal information on them. Did you get their permission? I would be REALLY mad if I saw my sonogram there. I love looking at them, they are adorable and amazing. But still….

Sanriobaby =^.^= commented on Oct 06 11 at 6:45 pmI can’t wait to go for my 4D scan in the next few weeks! I got to see my LO at 16wks on a 4D scan just to determine gender and even though SHE looked a bit like an alien, it was truly breathtaking to be able to see the miricle of life growing inside of me. I hope to get some really good “before” shots like some of the ones featured…
Crystal commented on Dec 23 11 at 1:32 pmI love these:) I was on a pregnancy board and I remember one picture that would have been GREAT on here! Her baby had punched itself in the eye and the baby had a big black eye in the u/s. she was so upset, but how often do you see something like that? How many people knew your child could hurt themselves in utero? :)
For those that were complaining about using the pics.. anyone who posts their u/s in message board signatures or just on the board actually gives up any copyright etc. thats why when you do searches you can pull up messageboards and forums from 5+ years ago. Crazy.. But it’s definitely not private.
Janet commented on Jan 27 12 at 12:36 amWhen you put something up on the internet, you always run the risk of it being used elsewhere. A family was vacationing in Europe when they saw a huge billboard for an advertisement and gasp, it was them up there! Any personal info should be edited out of these sonos. I don’t think it’s weird to look up images of what the fetus looks like. I saw my first picture of my unborn baby and was touched as well as creeped out. It looked like a baby skeleton!
Eva commented on Feb 05 12 at 10:15 pmI have a really amazing and funny 3d ultrasound shot of my youngest son. I would like to share it with you guys. Who should i send the photo to in order to get it featured?
Eva commented on Feb 05 12 at 10:20 pmOh, never mind. I didn’t realize these were just taken from google image search. That’s a little creepy, forget I said anything! Maybe next time have a contest or something and ask people to send in their images instead of just taking them from google.
Jessica commented on Feb 20 12 at 11:32 amHow in God’s name can anyone choose abortion after seeing these pictures!! Little sweet lives:)
