5 Hot Maternity Dresses for Spring

olian eileen 5 Hot Maternity Dresses for SpringOnce of the best things about being visibly pregnant in the warmer months is being able to rock super-cute maternity dresses. Those poor gals who are pregnant in winter (OK that was me last time) just don’t get to show off their bump like those of us with pregnancies blossoming in spring and summer.

I spent a lot of time searching for the best spring and summer maternity dresses. There are a lot of not-so-hot looks out there (why does fashion fail so fabulously when it comes to maternity?!?). But my five spring maternity dresses are all looks that can cross from work to play, and, who knows, you might just have to order a spring maternity dress for your upcoming baby shower.

My first and favorite is from Olian. In fact, I picked two dresses from Olian, as I like the line so much. The print on the Eileen dress ($122, left) says spring in a sweetly subtle way. The short-sleeved dress has shirring at the shoulder, a flattering V-neck and an adjustable tie.

Next up is Olian’s Fierce dress ($122, above left). Black and white are very classic, flattering colors, and the work-friendly print is bold without being off-putting. The short-sleeved wrap dressed has a slightly ruffled cap sleeves, a flattering V-neck and adjustable tie.

The Japanese Weekend D&A cross-front nursing dress ($86, above right) does double duty as beautiful maternity dress today, super cool nursing dress tomorrow (and believe me it’s hard to nurse in a regular dress). Japanese Weekend makes beautiful, durable clothes and the watercolor sublimation print adds an extra beautiful touch.

I am in love with the color of the Jade Maxi Maternity Dress by See You in Miami ($86, top left). This one has a little more shoulder coverage than your average maxi dress (allowing for a bra that actually holds up your boobs), and the beautiful jade color is accented by the subtle black and white floral print. It’s one size fits all.

My last pick–Lavish by Heidi Klum short-sleeved, uneven hem maternity dress ($79.99, top right)–has a more conservative print and neckline, but a fun, flirty hemline. Totally work appropriate, but I think it would look just as good on a hot date.

Thank you sooooooo much. With this post you’ve just saved me hours of online shopping. My mom has offered to gift me two maternity dresses. I’ll send her straight to the Japanese Weekend nursing and the Jade maxi dresses.
