How Many Noones Does it Take to Assemble a Stroller?
I finally broke down and bought Little Bean a “real” stroller. We’ve been getting by with the carrier and a hand me down running stroller, but I missed just having a standard, run of the mill, cup-holder on wheels.
Unfortunately, the consignment shops around me only had doubles and umbrellas in stock. We’ve been lucky, this is one of the first new baby supplies we purchased. We had a hand me down crib from Big Brother, a swing from cousin and a high chair, car seat and exersaucer from friends.
We decided on a Graco Lite Rider that I picked up at Traget for $59.99. It’s really similar to the stroller we had for Big Brother. There’s a tray for baby and Mom, the basket underneath is a nice size, and it’s not too heavy.
Overall, I’m a big fan, except for getting the darn thing assembled…
I took everything out of the box and attempted to put it together with Little Bean.
But he was no help. Apparently wheels are new concept for him, so he was distracted right off the bat.
The cat came buy to see what was going on.
But she was more interested in the box then anything else. And of course, when I grabbed my camera to take a picture of her inside it she ran like a bat out of hell.
I asked the husband if he could give me a hand.
But once he realized it would actually take work, he bailed.
Then Big Brother came home from school.
He’s always been my little helper.
We completed the assembly together.
While Little Bean napped.
So I guess to answer my own question it takes five, five Noones to assemble a stroller:
-1 to play with the wheels,
-1 to hide in the box,
-1 to pretend it’s too hard,
-1 to help as much as he could, and
-1 to do all the work, take pictures and get a good chuckle at her family’s expense.
:)
Side note: I’m so over slideshows.

Meagan commented on Feb 09 12 at 1:53 pmAll the readers are over slide shows too. :-) Bean looks WAY like his big brother, especially in that first photo.
My bub is obsessed with wheels too. Makes me want to pick up some stand alone tires for him to gnaw on.
