Kayla commented on Dec 18 11 at 9:31 pmIs there a particular reason you used just the yolks and not the whites? I’ve never thought about how great an omelet would be for toddlers. Perfect finger food and I think I could probably sneak in some veggies as they get older!
Roni commented on Dec 18 11 at 9:34 pmFrom what I read it’s the whites that have the most allergy potential. I was just holding off a little longer. Will probably try to add them in over the next month or so.
Totally an easy way to sneak in veggies! I’ve even pureed spinach and made green eggs for my 6 year old. :)

I eat them like they’re going out of fashion, and they do always feel really nourishing. I’m glad to have read this – I had no idea about the whites.
