Dooooood STOP GROWING!
Don’t get me wrong, I love watching you grow. Every day you seem to babble a little more, move a little more, interact a little, even understand a little more. I love it, but it’s all happening too fast.
Way too fast.
And I know fast. Your brother was born yesterday and now he’s a first grader. Did you hear me? FIRST GRADE! He’s reading and doing math. He dresses himself. He takes his own baths. He even makes his own breakfast! You, on the other hand, can barely get a Cheerio in your mouth, and I kind of want to keep it that way. ok?
OK?
Just a mere 3 months ago you could barely fit in your car…
Look at you today..
Pretty soon you won’t fit in there!
So stop it. STOP GROWING!
please?

Patty commented on Nov 17 11 at 10:31 amOh Roni just wait until you’re in my shoes…a 7th grader showing interest in girls, a 10yr old who is taller than me, and my “baby” is the one in first grade! I want to go back in time and do it all again…savor these days
Mandi commented on Nov 17 11 at 11:53 amTime does fly…my oldest baby was just born yesterday..really, he was!…he graduated from high school and started college last year…HOW did that happen?! My youngest baby is quickly approaching the teenage years…she is a beautiful, wonderful 12 year old who keeps me on my toes everyday…just as she always has since she was born…again, just yesterday! I have to keep telling myself, DON’T BLINK! Because, the next time I do allow myself to blink,….well, let’s not even think about that! No more blinking!! :)
