Babes in Turkey Pans. A Turkey Themed Slideshow.
I had heard of people taking an annual photo of their baby in their turkey pan. A really good turkey pan can be passed down for generations and what makes an heirloom better? Generations of babies being photographed in them. Since Addie was born in December she never made it into a turkey pan, but now with Vivi around, there will be some turkey/baby shots. I decided to gather a bunch of photos of babies in turkey pans, or even better, newborn babies being dwarfed by a Thanksgiving turkey…and I found some.
I also found that the whole baby in a turkey pan thing can go horribly…horribly wrong.
I’ll start with the innocent ones. Then we’ll go into the more…tragic ones.
I think it goes without saying (or maybe it doesn’t since I have the photos to prove it) don’t put your baby in the oven. Or the microwave. Just don’t. And if your baby is bawling their head off? Abandon photo and snuggle, don’t be that parent.
