Born Free Bottle Giveaway!

Posted by caseymullins on October 20th, 2011 at 1:18 pm

EcoBottles Born Free Bottle Giveaway!I wrote a long time ago that the first bottle I ever used with Vivi was a glass bottle by Born Free and the only bottle I’ve used since are Born Free bottles. We have big ones, little ones, glass ones and plastic ones. We haven’t had a single problem with them and Vivi hasn’t had a problem with them either. We made the switch to level 2 nipples around 4 months and all is well. One of Born Free’s greatest claims in the baby bottle industry is that they were BPA-free before BPA ever came under scrutiny. The bottles are also free of PVD and phthalates.

Picking out baby products is hard enough, so Born Free is giving you the chance to win a set of Born Free Eco Bottles for simply answering one question.

What were (are) the products you couldn’t (can’t) live without during your baby’s first year?

I know for us it has been the Woombie, her red Maclaran bouncy chair and my Peg Perego Skate stroller.

Simply leave a comment below answering this question for yourself and you’ll be entered to win a set of the best bottles I’ve found.

Contest is open to US residents only and will close Oct. 27th at midnight EST.

(Disclosure: Born Free has provided the bottles for this giveaway. I am in no way being compensated for this giveaway. All opinions are my own.)

My glamour mom nursing tanks! Couldn’t live without my nursing cover! And baby’s vibrating chair.

Connie commented on Oct 20 11 at 1:28 pm

Funny … today is my baby’s 27th birthday and his first baby is on the way! When he was a baby, baby monitors were new and I can’t imagine how hard it would have been without one. You know, when the baby comes home and all you do is stare because you’re waiting for him to stop breathing? That monitor gave me some peace :)

i couldn’t live without my daughter’s bouncy seat. right after she was born i had to have emergency gall bladder surgery and she had to stay with my sister while i was in the hospital for 5 days. my sister lived in another state at the time so she had to stay at my mom’s house and amelia slept in her bouncy seat. she came to love it so she napped in it everyday until she was 4 months old.

kristen self commented on Oct 20 11 at 3:22 pm

hate to be obvious, but Born Free bottles (because I have pumped exclusively since week 2), my pump, and footed pajamas (little guy hates to be swaddled).

It’s not a product, and it sounds kind of cheesy, but it’s true… I could not have done it without the love and support of my family and friends.

Baby swing! Saved us when our little one was particularly fussy in the first couple of months.

We couldn’t have lived without this AMAZING Homedics sound machine (still puts him to sleep instantaneously when turned on), a healthy supply of pacifiers, and zipper onsies for late night changings when buttons and snaps were a nightmare. :)

Rachel commented on Oct 21 11 at 10:01 am

We have a Peter Rabbit blanket from Pottery Barn. When we walked in the door from the hospital with baby Hen, we had no idea what to do with her. We folded up the blanket, put it on the floor, and laid her down. Since that moment, Hen has grown with Peter! In the last 4 months, “Peter” has become part of the family!!! Hen learned to roll over on Peter, is practicing sitting up on Peter and nearly every book has been read on Peter. We’ve had to unfold Peter as she grows. One day, not too far from now, Hen will be able to drag Peter around as she walks throughout the house.

My camera!

Emily commented on Oct 22 11 at 4:43 pm

We loved those little half-sheet-pad-thingies that you tie in the middle of the crib. So when Jaden’s diaper leaked in the middle of the night we just had to change the pad and not the entire sheet. We definitely plan to use them again when Weston gets here in less than a month!

Katy P commented on Oct 22 11 at 9:06 pm

Baby #3 is now 6 weeks old. She loves her swing, wubbanubs (which are little stuffed animals attached to soothie pacifiers) and the sling (from Etsy).

Kim commented on Oct 22 11 at 10:18 pm

Definitely her HoneyBear (she dosn’t sleep with it), her swing (although she’s recently decided she hates it, and the music machine (it plays lullabies, white noise, or her IPOD).

Karen B commented on Oct 24 11 at 10:51 am

The boppy and these gel nipple cover things that the lactation consultant gave me. You put them in the fridge between feedings and after a feeding you put them on your nipples. HEAVEN! My daughter and I had hard time the first week of breastfeeding and those babies saved my poor nipples.

Tricia commented on Oct 24 11 at 11:45 am

Snugli carriers, Halo sleepsacks, and sounds-of-the-womb teddy bear!

Caralee Wirges commented on Oct 24 11 at 11:56 am

I commented earlier but it seems I mistyped. Here’s how it should have been:

Definitely her HoneyBear (she dosn’t sleep without it), her swing (although she’s recently decided she hates it), and the music machine (it plays lullabies, white noise, or her IPOD).

Tammy M. commented on Oct 24 11 at 1:15 pm

We love all the California Baby Products and our white noise machine– what a life saver! Also, we have a baby monitor that allows you to see a video feed of your baby– which was a fun way to cut back on some anxiety about having her sleep in her own room from the beginning. :)

Samantha commented on Oct 24 11 at 4:27 pm

The White noise machine has been a lifesaver!!!

TiffanyinSF commented on Oct 24 11 at 5:03 pm

Laura commented on Dec 30 11 at 4:59 pm
