DIY Fleece Children’s Hats
It is really no secret that I have a slight obsession with all the ridiculously cute baby hats available on Etsy.
I envy those that can knit and crochet these tiny tot toques. If I had an ounce of skill with a ball of yarn my kids would be knee-deep in sock monkey, wildlife, and monster headwear.
But I don’t.
However, I can use a sewing machine. Sort of.
Sure, I have to look at the instructions on threading the machine almost every time I use it. I’m okay with that. I know how to run a stitch and that’s what is important here.
Why?
Because I found a listing on Etsy for a fleece hat sewing pattern. Two actually. And each pattern has several options on sizes and creatures:
Dinosaur.
Chicken.
Bee.
Devil.
Bunny.
Bear.
Cat.
Monster.
I kind of want one of each.
They look relatively easy to make. And the fleece makes them look all warm and cozy. With the size options I could make hats for both of my boys. Gah! I might explode from the potential for cuteness.
Cute, right? Which is your favorite? Do you sew? Would you attempt to make one of these?
