18 Etsy Craft-Tastrophes for Baby

Peanut the Pug Stuffed Baby Toy
Etsy can be a magical place of creativity and inspiration that can suck your Paypal account dry with the marvelous textures, talent and handmade items available for purchase. Vivi’s entire nursery was inspired by Etsy and I constantly find new and amazing things for everyone in my life in the farthest corners of the online handmade market.
While talent abounds on Etsy, taste is sometimes…negotiable. But that’s the beauty right? Where else are you going to find a hand knit placenta or a fused glass uterus pendant? The truth is these sellers are selling it because some buyer is buying it. What follows are 18 unique and sometimes ridiculous finds on etsy for your baby.

Ami commented on Oct 11 11 at 11:54 amThe big bird legs just slayed me. I think I could handle the pettiromper WITHOUT the ginormous flower that covers her entire torso. Maybe.
But what’s with the bling pacifier? Lawsuit waiting to happen.
Selena Mae commented on Oct 11 11 at 12:34 pmHave you seen Regretsy? Funny shizzle right there. And this. Tee hee. Oh, Etsy. The magnificent, the good, the bad, and the fugly.

Talia commented on Oct 11 11 at 3:37 pmI was going to mention Regretsy, but Selena Mae beat me to it!
Also, I want to tell you that you’re my favorite blogger here…you have my sense of humor. =)
Jessica commented on Oct 11 11 at 3:39 pmI really like the second one. The bling binkies are popular ish ,and some sell for 17,000 dollars. Peacock costume is cute. I would prefer it for cosplay rather than just a night of trick-or-treating. I like the pettiromper, but photo prop only with huge flower.
amanda commented on Oct 11 11 at 3:50 pmI loooove the petti leg warmers as a photo prop! And my daughter also has a petti romper. Its precious on her. The top hat would also be so cute in pictures. I also didn’t see anything wrong with the diaper wreath other than the horrible sales line and the extreme price lol. My aunt made one for me when I had my daughter and they hung it on my hospital room dorr and we got a million co pliments on how beautiful and creative it was. It now hangs on my daughters bedroom door :)
Jenna commented on Oct 12 11 at 1:34 pmThe eyeball rattle cracks me up! I may actually have to get that when i bring baby to visit work since i work in an Ophthalmologist office!
