Checking Up — One Month
One month.
My baby turned one month old on Tuesday.
I cannot believe it has been a month already. What a whirlwind. It hardly feels like that many weeks could have possibly passed. But they have, and so as a family of four we trudged into the doctor’s office yesterday for the 4 week checkup.
No surprise to me, the pediatrician said that Baby H is developing beautifully. At the one month mark he logs in at 22 inches long and weighs 9.3 ounces.
Nine pounds. Three ounces.
That is two entire pounds heavier than his birth weight. Baby H was under the 7 pound mark when we left the hospital so I was surprised to see he had surpassed the 9 pound mark. Way to go baby! I’m going to go ahead and say he is eating well.
We of course are madly in love with every delicious ounce of him. G-tot adores Baby H and never leaves or goes to bed without giving him a hug and a kiss.
I’m the same way.
