5 Quick & Easy Breakfast Smoothie Recipes

Yes. I'm BF'ing and I drink coffee. 1 cup a day. Now that we've gotten that out of the way...onto the smoothies!
Mornings are hectic? How about all the time? Barely human in the morning because it’s all just one great big sleepless nube-dom? (Hand, – up.)
Whether you are a momma to one, or more than one little – eating healthy can be challenging. Time-wise and often, with less appendages to work with. Toddler hugging your shin and sitting on your ankle, babe in the crook of your arm. Not that you need a leg to cook with, but still. Being mobile helps.
Sometimes it’s just easier for me to pop some yummy, carb laden cinnamon raisin bread in the toaster and slather it with butter. However, I find that I feel hella better for my day if I kick it off with a fresh smoothie. It was pretty much routine around here, the smoothie making and consuming. But as of late, with all the exhaustion – Raisin Maid has taken over.
Time to get back on track! Internets, hold me to it. Here are some my favourite quick and easy smoothie recipes, which I guarantee – will have you feeling more human in no time. The key to their simplcity is stocking up on the ingredients and having a good blender. You don’t need a fancy mixer. My magic bullet does the trick, although I highly covet the vitamix. Especially if you are breast-feeding, smoothies are a great way to fill up on goodness and load your reserves. For you and babe.
