Designing Wolf’s Nursery

While I was pregnant, I had lots of ideas and visions on how I wanted to decorate Wolf’s nursery. It seems like just about everyone was asking, “what’s the theme for the nursery?!” From the beginning, I knew I wanted to go with a general animal theme, but as the pregnancy went on I narrowed it down to woodland creatures. I became a little obsessed over the idea that Wolf should be surrounded by animals he’d see in nature, not with animals he’d only find in the zoo. Well, of course we received LOTS of animals, but mostly giraffes, zebras and elephants not the bears, squirrels or owls I was hoping for. Wolf’s nursery is isn’t what I’d originally planned for but it’s still a work in progress.
Want to see my inspiration? We’re almost there, but here’s what I hope that it’ll look like once it’s finished. {And when it is, I’ll share more photos!}

Natalie commented on Jul 22 11 at 1:31 pmMy older girl’s room is woodland creatures and gnomes. When I was trying to put it together three and a half years ago, I had trouble finding things. Now it seems that everywhere I go I see something that I would have loved to have had at the time. Her room is a very pale green with some red accents (like toad stools). She has some original art work from a friend of ours and lots of bears and squirrels and owls. (I’m from Portland too, so you’ll find lots of good stuff, I’m sure. I’m a terrible shopper, which I assume you’re not.)
