Simple Sewing Ideas For Baby
Last week while we were in Idaho, my sister-in-law threw us a baby shower in honor of Wolf’s arrival. It was a hot hot day in Boise, with temps reaching 98 degrees! It was fun socializing with family and Wolf enjoyed being passed around from cousin to aunt to grandparent. We received lots of really great gifts for Wolf, especially the sewing machine that my in-laws gave me! I’ve been wanting one for such a long time now with hopes to create wonderful things not only for our home but for Wolf too. I’m really excited to start sewing and here are a few books and patterns I’m going to try:
Lotta Jansdotter’s Simple Sewing For Baby
I love the snuggler {pictured above}, the bloomers and the giraffe rattle.
Handmade Home by Amanda Blake Soule
There’s a baby sling that looks interesting!
Japanese Sewing Books
I like the way this one is set up so even if you can’t read Japanese, you could still get very inspired by the photos!
Etsy Patterns
I did a simple search for baby sewing patterns and found lots of goodies! I love these animals. Wouldn’t they be cute rattles?
