The Great Big Huge Baby Carrier Round Up & GIVEAWAY!

Baby wearing at the beach! (Pardon the sun in Huck's face. It's brutal.)
CONGRATULATIONS! Are you Kristi H? You’ve won!
Here’s the thing: When it comes to parenting, my tendencies tend to skew toward the hippie spectrum. Delayed solids? Prolonged breastfeeding? Aversion to overly structured structureness? It’s weird. I know. I didn’t see it coming either.
One aspect of parenting I really couldn’t have seen coming is my new obsession with baby wearing. Seriously. Baby wearing?
First of all, the term is funny. What does that even mean, Baby Wearing? You’re not actually wearing your baby. You’re carrying yo baby. This isn’t Silence of the Lambs here. But also, right.
(More after the jump. Plus a GIVEAWAY! Oh yes you read that right!)
I like Baby Wearing (if you like to call it as such) because it appeals to my roots. I was raised by a pack of women (nine child-rearing aunts living in the same town) who wore their babies, but to them it was called “holding your babies.” The women in my family read no parenting books, bought no parenting doohickers, and sort of old-schooled it. I like that. Babies were passed around and around and held constantly. By their moms, and by their cousins’ moms too. It takes a village! Or something. I feel like I am following after the manner of my women by Baby Wearing, only also not, in that my way of baby wearing involves way more accessories, and less arms possibly, and also way less family members living close by. So, not at all, really, I guess. Except still, yes. Hmm.
(Also, the women in my family would probably be appalled at Hillary Clinton references of all kinds.)
So, baby wearing. Right. I am pro-baby wearing. (Who isn’t?) Lots of good reasons to baby-wear only I’m not going to go there. Imma talk to you today about BRANDS. You know, like, PURCHASING OPTIONS. Which carriers are best? You want to wear your baby, but how? With what? These are big questions. Imma attempt to answer them, suckas!
And now, the super fun part: This week, I am giving away a BabyBjorn Original Carrier in their new retro design (our winner gets to choose between the orange and the blue color way!) For an entry, just tell me in the comments: Which carriers have you used? Which is your favorite? Conversely-wise, do you call it Baby Wearing or Baby Toting? (Baby Schlepping?) (Baby Chest-Strapping!)
Winner will be chosen at random this Friday at Midnight, and the winner will be contacted via email. Good luck, and happy commenting!

Frances commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:45 amahhh baby carriers. I have an almost 3 week old, and a 5 (going on 12) year old. With my big girl, we used a pouch sling – which she loved, but it’s fleece, and I’m thinking will be too warm for the number 2 kiddo this summer. Also used a mei tai – so far this is the one that is working for the new babe. He fits nicely and we can make sure it’s nice and secure. A friend lent us a moby wrap but I’m too scared to take it out of the bag, and we also invested in an ergo sport which we haven’t had the chance to try out yet – as the wee one is still a little small. I haven’t tried the baby bjorn, but like the forward facing option which doesn’t really work with our other carriers – unless we’re wearing the babe on our backs. Would love to try one out!
Jordan commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:48 amI have used a generic front pack of sorts and didn’t like it because it was very uncomfortable it pulled on my neck and back in the most uncomfortable ways and I never felt baby was comfortably supported either, another gripe was that when my daughter was older she wanted to see her surroundings and was unable to. I have also used a seven sling which I found to constricting in the shoulder area and insecure because baby could just slide out, my final option is the moby wrap and it has worked reasonably well since it can be tied in a variety of ways and is pretty comforatable for baby and me. I would love however to try a bjorn I like having my little girl close and would love to be comfortable doing so! PS I don’t really have a name for baby carrying or wearing……
Jaime commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:50 amI have the moby and ergo. The moby was great while baby was all newborn squishy, but now it’s the ergo show. I don’t want to bother with the moby’s never-ending wrap. The ergo has two easy clicks and it’s ready to go. But I agree, it does tend to get hot. Luckily I live in Portland, so I don’t have to worry too much about our one month of summer.
Leanne commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:52 amI have used the Moby when E was little and the Belle Baby Carrier since she was about 7 weeks. I LOVE the Belle! SO easy to put on, made in the USA and local (to me) company. E loves it too. The Moby was fun while it lasted but I just never got super duper awesome at putting it on quickly.
I really want to test out the Ergo now I’m a better babywearer(!). I tried it once but I had a whole lot of trouble fastening the back clip and the straps felt giant on me. And I’m bigger than a sixth-grader.
I don’t love the “babywearing” term but I cannot think of anything I like better. It is kind of fun to say, “No, no stroller, I’ll just wear her,” like it’s some kind of magic trick.
Jessica commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:55 amIm a huge fan of baby wearing, loved it with my first. He got so big so fast it was hard to wear him after awhile though.
My favorite is the Ergo baby, although they can’t face out so that is kind of a bummer, and I could never figure out how to wear him on my side. Slings, I feel are kind of dangerous, but maybe that is because I keep hearing all these scary stories. I do also love the Moby baby for when they are tiny and you do skin to skin with them, but otherwise that one is really hard to put on!

Kalli commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:03 amI loves the carriers.
I’ve gots a ring sling which is awesome for those quick grocery trips and whatever else. Easy to pop in and out. A sleepywrap which is basically a stretchy moby, and a boba which is a lot like the Ergo. My beef with the boba is the strap placement, so hard to get the kid in and out and it sort of rubs my pits.
We have a front carrier like the bjorn but Fatty outgrew it 3 months ago at 25 lbs.
Katie commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:12 amI’ve tried the moby and ergo and love them both for different reasons. The moby when he was small and the ergo now at 5 months. I like to call it baby carrying :) definitely interested in giving the Bjorn a shot since my baby is so curious and would love to face out.
Tee commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:21 amI had a sling originally, but it got recalled. Then the company (Infantino) sent me a replacement in a new style, which I liked because it was portable, and it held my baby upright. It doesn’t work for heavier weights though, so I’d love to use the Bjorn now!
Kristyn F commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:58 amThe very first baby carrier that I used was a Sling. I really wanted the weight distributed throughout my whole body. I have made my very own Moby wrap, but it is so long and heavy that, I cant really take it anywhere. I love that I can carry baby different ways while using the Moby and my son is never fussing while in it!
Julie commented on Jul 04 11 at 3:10 amIf you’re having issues with the Ergo, have you viewed their videos online? They’ve got a demonstration of how to cross the straps for more comfort on petite people. Just a thought!
Christeena commented on Jul 04 11 at 3:33 amI LOVE the Baby Bjorn! I have not had the guts to use anything else and my 11 month old just LOVES going for “rides’ or “walks” with Mommy & Daddy! She squeals with excitement every time she sees the Baby Bjorn make its way out of the closet! It is so fun to “schlepp” her around in it. Yes, I definitely consider this ‘Baby Schlepping’, but it certainly is worth it when it makes your baby’s day!
EmGabs commented on Jul 04 11 at 3:41 amI use the Infantino EcoSash and love it now that my Little Bug is bigger and can face outward. I didn’t like it when he faced inward because his legs didn’t hang down, but had to straddle my midsection, which seemed really uncomfortable for him.
jenni commented on Jul 04 11 at 4:10 ami know i already mentioned this on twitter (the your-dad-in-a-onesie thing) but it literally looks like your dad is strapped to your chest and you’re just walking around, carrying him and eating an ice cream cone. it’s both strange, hilarious, awesome and adorable all once.
and i want that ice cream cone.
and your nail polish is great.
leorira commented on Jul 04 11 at 5:12 amno kids yet, but I’m researching all the different options. I’m expecting twins – so we”l probably get some kind of wrap (Wrapsody Bali Breeze has been suggested by many) for carrying (toting? schlepping?) both at once when they are super small – and probably 2 ring slings for when they are bigger.
I also really like the Mei Teis (we’ve tried the BabyHawk ones). Simpler than a structured carried like the Bjorn and Ergo, but much more ‘user friendly’ (ie, user fail proof!) than a wrap.
Shel commented on Jul 04 11 at 6:38 amWe’ve been using the moby carrier for our son (3 months old today!). I like its versatility and its comfort – just soft fabric, no straps or buckles. We also have a hand me down ergo from my sister in law but we don’t have the infant insert so haven’t used it yet.
Rachel @ A Cupcake for Moose commented on Jul 04 11 at 6:52 amI first tried the Dr Sears Balboa sling, which my babycakes said, “No way, Jose” to being stuck inside. Not her bag. We like the Ergo, but now that it’s getting hot out it’s too padded for comfort. Still looking for an easy (& breezy!) carrier to tote around my babe.

stacey commented on Jul 04 11 at 6:55 amSo like I said on your Facebook, I have the Ergo, not the Sport, the regular. I feel like I must be doing something wrong… When I used it the strap was digging into my lower back, so I loosened it and the little guy felt like he was sliding down constantly. Somewhere I don’t have the tightness of the straps right. I’d love to be able to try the Baby Bjorn. I think he’d love to face out, and it just looks way less cumbersome. There’s probably something to be said about using the brand that everyone has heard of.
Adrianna commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:09 amI have the Ergo and Moby. I agree that the Moby was great when my son was tiny… but now at 6 months it just doesn’t get much use. The fabric pulls too much and feels too loose. Maybe it is my tying skills? We use our Ergo ALL the time. It is comfortable and has become the place to nap when we are out. I couldn’t live without it! I wonder how my son would feel in a carrier that faces out?
anitavaladez commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:12 amOne aspect of parenting I really couldn’t have seen coming is my new obsession with baby wearing, Did you watch the “Extreme Couponing” show they should have featured “Printapon” which I use and print coupons from online
Stacey commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:14 amLike I said on your Facebook, I have the Ergo, the regular, not the Sport. I feel like I must be doing something wrong… The back strap was digging into my lower back, so I loosened those and then it felt like the little guy was constantly sliding down. I can’t seem to get the tightness of the straps right. Like you said, I also can’t reach the strap that goes across the shoulders. I’m wishing I hadn’t spent so much money on it…
I’d love to be able to try the Baby Bjorn. I know my guy would love to be able to face out and it just looks way less cumbersome. There’s probably something to be said about using the brand everyone has heard of.
Laura commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:19 amMy baby hasn’t arrived yet, but I planned to get a Baby Bjorn. My husband in particular is super excited to have one to carry the baby around.
Grace commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:41 amI have never used a carrier, but I hope to soon as I’m pregnant with my first. I think I’ll call it baby-toting!
Suzanne commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:07 amBaby’s not here yet, but I’m totally expecting to be a baby-wearer (or lugger), and would love to start my collection of baby-lugging accessories!
Robyn commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:51 amWhen my little girl was tiny we used a sling and it was great while she was little. She used to sleep in it all the time and practically lived in it. But once she got bigger it hurt me so much and she hated it. She wanted to be able to see. Then a friend lent us the baby bjorn synergy http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=445468&CategoryID=36138 it was fantastic! It’s made out of breathable mesh which is perfect for summer, and it has back support without being quite as cumbersome as the comfort carrier. It also wrapped up really easily into a little attached mesh bag. It was awesome! But I would totally love to win an orange baby bjorn of my own- especially with number two due in December! Please tell me that I can still be in the competition if I live in Australia? Oh and I called it Baby- carrying I think?
Susanne commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:51 amI love the Sleepy Wrap (a stretchy Moby wrap) but I would love to try a new carrier :)
rachel commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:56 amim definietly going to try baby wearing when I have mine, its not common in Aust but thats never bothered me before :) would love to try the Baby Bojrn.
katie commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:59 amI have used the ultimate baby wrap, a knock off bjorn, a side bucket type one (like the very pretty white one). So far I have liked the knock off bjorn. The ultimate baby wrap has SOOO much fabric. I also have a giant baby. and the material feels like it is stretching and not holding my chunk-a-munk. The side bucket type carrier my children never stayed in. i felt like they couldnt breath when they were tiny and then wanted out as they got older. The knock off has been the best. secure, front facing and not too bad putting on.
im not sure what i could call what i do. probably just Holding my baby. im going old school. Baby wearing seems odd..although they are the very best accessory.
katie commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:06 amWe love our moby wrap for our 6 week old. I can strap him in there and he will snooze through anything, chores, weddings, blogging- you name it. I like to call it baby wearing too.. Sounds hippie and awesome. I would love this new carrier for when this niblet gets a little chunkier!
arely colin commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:22 ami have the Moby but i never used it
Meg commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:28 amI have had the Moby for my 9 month old since birth and I still use it. You are right though, it worked best when he was an infant. We’d go everywhere with him snuggled up against my chest, sound asleep in a little cozy ball. People wouldn’t even notice him at first! Especially if I was wearing a jacket over the wrap. It also still works for me now that he weighs 20 lbs. He faces outward so he can see everything (he no longer tolerates any tummy to tummy time. I admit, he is too big for it. The straps cut into my shoulders and it’s just not so practical. I have just been putting off buying a Bjorn because I have been hesitant to buy a new carrier just to have him stop using it in a few months.
Chris commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:31 amThis is sweet 4th giveaway!
I was given a Sleepywrap (basically the same as the Moby) which we used when our boy was tiny but once Winter struck in Vermont, it was so bulky to wear over our coats so we switched to a Bjorn that was given to us (thank you big families) and he hung out in that until well it was probably dangerous for us to be walking around in -20 weather with him…but then we actually switched to a backpack which is still technically “wearing your baby”right? but we could also trek all across New Zealand with him. My husband is a kiwi so he grew up with a brand called MacPac and they make AMAZING backpacks–so comfortable. Bulky yes, but I could wear him for hours with no issues accept I felt like a sherpa. Anywho…I have seriously been looking into the Ergo because even though he is now 2, he is still carriable and my friend loves her Ergo for her toddler. I guess I never really thought about how much I prefer to carry our boy.
Jenna commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:40 amI love my Ergo but you’re right, it is HOT! I’d love to try a sling sometime…might have to be my next baby purchase!
Ashlie commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:17 amI am expecting my first little beeba in October, and I LOVED this breakdown of the different carriers. I really love the versatility of a Moby Wrap, and think I will probably try to get my hands on one for the infant times, especially for travelling (my family lives a 3 hour plane ride away). I’m also interested in the BabyBjorn for day trips to farms and museums and all the other things I imagine myself possibly doing. I will definitely call it baby wearing :)
Thank you for such a great giveaway!
Tina commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:21 amWe’re using the Moby for baby wearing but I do find it awkward to put on if we’re out and about . . .
Ashley commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:40 amI haven’t tried any of them yet (I’m 16 weeks pregnant with my 1st, yay!), but I have been planning on trying the baby bjorn for my baby wearing needs. It sounds like it would be a good option for me since I am also the size of a sixth grader. I would really like to try a sling as well, but I’m so afraid of not tying it tight enough and dropping the poor child.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway! Good luck to everyone, but I hope I win!
vicki commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:02 amMy babe was born in January and I wore him (I like to say “strap him on” but that’s my dirty mind…) in a Sleepy Wrap under my bulky winter coat. Perfect for our cold, PA winter. Now I use the ring sling (we love our maya wrap) or the ergo (I’m only 5 feet and it fits me fine. I just adjusted all the straps). My husband likes to wear him in the backpack (a kelty). He stays happy being close to us and we all get extra snuggle time.
Emily commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:02 amI have a sling and a carrier that I purchased second-hand, so we’ll see which one baby prefers. My husband swears that he will never “baby wear” but he may change his mind!
lindsay commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:37 amThis is an awesome giveaway! My sister always used the baby bjorn and now that I am FINALLY having my own baby I can’t wait to try one with my own baby!
maureen commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:48 amgreat review of the carriers! i thought the s&l ones were gorgeous but good to know they aren’t worth it. and i always thought the comfort of the ergo would sway be but being over heated would drive me crazy – sounds like bjorn it is!
Kate commented on Jul 04 11 at 12:10 pmI’ve tried the ERGO, which is great, but I do wish baby could face out occasionally. He loves watching the world!
Jamie commented on Jul 04 11 at 12:12 pmI expected to be a stroller pushing mom, but when my baby wanted nothing to do with the stroller, we entered the world of baby wearing. I currently have an ergo sport and a moby wrap. My baby is 4.5 months old and about 18 pounds. I still vastly prefer carrying my little guy in the moby. I am 5’4 and average build and I am able to carry my baby much more comfortably (for both of us) in the moby. My husband hates the moby. He is 5’11 and has a broad chest and the ergo works very well for them. I think the “best” carrier is very much a matter of the height, weight and build of the wearer and wearee. I would love to try the bjorn!!
Reese commented on Jul 04 11 at 12:13 pmI call it baby carrying or carrying in the carrier thinger wrap wearing thing.
I too used the moby a lot in the beginning but when May came around (Florida!) it was too hot. I tried a mesh one from etsy that is supposed to be cooler and can go in water, but it’s more difficult to use, I can never seem to find the edges of it once it’s on me.
We also have an Ergo sport that husband loves to use and baby loves it too. He almost always falls asleep in that one.
I just got a sling from 7 everyday slings, I’ve only used it once but it seemed pretty comfortable and baby just chilled in it. It was hard to get him into though.
Kate commented on Jul 04 11 at 12:16 pmI’ve used the Moby and the Snugli. I also have the Infantino Eco Sash in the mail because my son is just too big to comfortably use the others anymore. I would looove to try the Baby Bjorn.
Kimber commented on Jul 04 11 at 12:41 pmI use a homemade mei tai–very similar to the ergo. Love it!
Ali commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:10 pmI guess I haven’t really had the opportunity to try any of them, cuz I am still carrying my baby in utero. But I’ve been pinching my pennies to save up and buy an Ergo, so you should pick me! And I’ve always called it baby-wearing. :) And dang it, I wanna wear my baby, so I want that orange Ergo!
Samantha commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:16 pmI am expecting a baby in 5 months, so I would love to try out Bjorn. I can’t wait to carry my little nugget around :)
Emily commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:19 pmWe used a sling and an imitation baby bjorn. I like calling it baby wearing.
Megan commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:36 pmI have a ring sling but barely used it. mostly use our bjorn-style carrier. or arms!
Danielle C. commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:42 pmI’ve used the Seven everyday sling for A. It was great when she was little but now that she’s 6 months & 18+ lbs she doesn’t feel so secure. We also have the Ergo sport which feels great for my back, but A doesn’t like & it does get very warm.
Sara commented on Jul 04 11 at 1:54 pmI’ve got a moby and a sling, and I’m not sure if I’ll buy an ergo, or something like it. I’m expecting a small baby, so I’m hoping that the moby will keep me for a while.
Allyson commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:01 pmI would love to try an ergo. So far my baby screams whenever we try our Eddie Bauer front facing carrier
AJ commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:20 pmI use the ergo and love love love it. Now that my babe is 9 months old I love to wear him on my hip with it. I have also used the Bjorn and my baby loved it. He giggled and kicked the whole way bc it felt like his jonny jumper.
Also, I call it baby carrying.
Jennifer O commented on Jul 04 11 at 2:38 pmI used the infantino baby carrier until they’re like 4 months then I can’t handle it. I am very short and small framed but I have big babies. They get too heavy fast.
Nora commented on Jul 04 11 at 3:27 pmBaby is not here yet, but really looking forward to baby-wearing! I’m excited to try out the bjorn and the ring sling.
Monica commented on Jul 04 11 at 4:54 pmI started out with a sleepy wrap and then when I had the funds I bought a Storchenwiege. I love my Storch which is another wrap like the moby, but it’s not stretchy. It’s so heavy though and not good for the summer. So I had purchased a Maya ring sling which I quickly got rid of because even though my baby isn’t very big I didn’t like the weight distribution. Currently I have just gotten a water wrap which I haven’t gotten much use out of yet, but I hope for it to be my summer wrap. Oh, and I do have an Ergo though, but it’s sized for my husband and he’d rather carry her in his arms or stick her in the stroller. He thinks she doesn’t like it, but he won’t let me try carrying her in it ;). She has no problems with me in the wrap. I think he gets anxious and she senses that. I do call it baby wearing though.
Jennifer commented on Jul 04 11 at 5:05 pmI have the pea pod sling which is great for when baby is smaller. I also use the cuddly wrap which is a bit of a pain to put on because it’s soooooo long but I still love it! I mostly wear my baby when out and about. For walks to the park with my other two kids or to go shopping etc. Oh and incase u didn’t notice I do call it baby wearing tho it is kind of a funny term it is what you are doing…..like a vest or accessory you put them on and away you go!
Kristyn commented on Jul 04 11 at 5:12 pmI use the Moby right now since my little one is still extremely little. I have an ERGO for when he gets older, so we’ll see how it goes.
And I do call it baby wearing, though I fully agree that it’s a strange term.
Molly commented on Jul 04 11 at 5:25 pmExpecting my first – yeah!! And im sure to call it baby wearing. I mean isnt it the ultimate accesory? ;-) Would love love love to win a bjorn, always been partial to it when I babysit for people who own one.
Anne commented on Jul 04 11 at 6:33 pmI’ve used a Bjorn sport and an Ergo sport as a nanny, and hip-issues aside, we both loved the Bjorn best. That being said, I registered for a Baby K’Tan and a regular Ergo for my own baby, and am looking forward to using both. I hope that the K’Tan won’t be too hot in the humid Philly summer, though- we don’t have a stroller!
Erin commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:31 pmFirst I got a cheapy one from target, I’m talking $18. I liked it but he wasn’t crazy about facing forward and when he was facing me he sagged really low. Then I got the moby. I liked it but all the wrapping was too much for me so I handed it down to my hippie-esqe friend. Then we got the ergo. LOVE it. He’s such a cuddly baby he likes facing me more than seeing the world, but you’re right, it gets pretty warm. And now that he’s older I think he wants to do some people watching. I wish you had posted this, oh, 9 months ago but how would you have known. Ok, I forgive you.
Liz L. commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:51 pmI have used a Seven Sling and a Maya Wrap and a Lillebaby. I liked the lillebaby the best. I call it “using the carrier.”
Bailey commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:52 pmI guess I would call it baby wearing. It does sound weird, though, and when you talk to people that don’t have children they look at you funny. I have an infantino carrier that I used until my LO hit the 20 pound mark, and now I’m using a sling. I have no idea what it’s called, but it’s incredibly handy and my little one loves it. She will snuggle up right next to me and just chill while we walk!
Hyatt commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:53 pmWe use a Lillebaby because we got it for free. Previously, we had been planning on purchasing a Maya Wrap. We also have a Seven Sling, I have not personally used it yet. Our son is too old for it at this point but we are expecting another in December.
Jessica commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:53 pmI loved the Moby and our Babyhawk Mai Tai when Dex was a newbie, but now at 6 months, I’m searching for a more comfortable/flexible option, maybe the Bjorn is it? When I was pregnant and first introduced my hubs to the concept of babywearing he became obsessed with spotting babywearing moms. He might have even done a lot of pointing and stage whispering “Look there is another one WEARING her baby!” He was very excited at this new option for parenting.
Emily commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:57 pmI am expecting my first in 5 weeks! I have a Moby Wrap that I am very excited about trying!! I have used the Baby Bjorn with my sisters kids and really enjoyed that. I call it baby wearin’.
Kelly commented on Jul 04 11 at 7:59 pmI have used the Moby Wrap, but I am looking to try a Bjorn. My husband says he would wear it because it looks “cooler” than the Moby. lol
Caitlin Baker commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:00 pmI have tried the Moby Wrap, Snuggli, and the sling style of carrier. I’ve only tried the sling style so far with my newborn but she didn’t seem to love it. I’d love to find the “perfect” sling for her that she’ll love being in, maybe the BabyBjorn is it!
Amanda2029 commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:01 pmI loaned my baby Bjorn out and they ruined it. I have a new little bundle arriving in a few weeks and this would be perfect!!!
Erica commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:12 pmWe’ve used the Moby, a used Baby Bjorn and an ancient Snugli. The Moby works well now that baby is big enough to let his legs dangle. Hubby prefers the look and feel of the Bjorn. I just wish it was new so we could feel extra secure in its history. And we call it either “carting him around” or “calming the inconsolable ogre” because wearing him is one of the ony ways he chills out. Lol.
Brandi Elam commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:28 pmI have used slings, mostly, and occasionally an old Snugli carrier I bought years ago. Since we mostly use slings, we call it “slinging” as in “Are we taking the stroller or are you slinging him today?”
RKA commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:29 pmMy wife wants one of these. This is the only carrier that looks manly enough that I would actually use it around town.
Amy commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:36 pmI wear my baby all the time and I love the moby wrap! My baby is only 5 weeks old, so this is the one for me. We have the Ergo with the insert, but the insert is unwieldy, I anticipate this being helpful when she’s a bit larger. I also have the baby k’tan, which I’m not a huge fan of. It stretches quickly and my baby always feels like she is sagging, which is too bad because I really want to like it. This may also be better when she’s a bit larger.
Benjamin commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:55 pmAll we’ve had the opportunity to try so far has been the moby and it’s been fantastic! our baby girl Indigo is just 5 weeks this last saturday. I”ve heard good things about the Ergos but i don’t know. and we call it baby wearing. the whole idea of attachment parenting appeals to my partner and i both very much. seems like thats been the way for thousands of years and the thought of strollers and the like seems removed and detached from nature in so many ways…. for instance the first things that baby chimps learn is how to grasp tufts of their mothers hair and how to hang on! if i could get indigo to learn that we be very attached indeed=) happy babies to all!!! and blessings upon all who see these words.
Dana commented on Jul 04 11 at 8:59 pmI have an Ergo and a Seven sling. The Seven sling is only used for super short trips into the store or to the mailbox. Mostly we use the Ergo in the side position for carrying. However, I will admit that we use a stroller quite frequently. Carriers after a long period of time hurt my back too much. But I am wearing my daughter more than I ever wore my son. (LOL “wearing” still cracks me up)
Kimmie commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:00 pmI used the baby bjorn with family members. i dont have a favorate but have looked at a few different styles. i guess i would say baby wearing haha sounds right to me your wearing him cuz you dont need your hands, just like you would say ypur wearing a backpack! pick me! ill take the blue haha =)
Kirstin commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:06 pmWe’re just starting to “wear” our little girl (she’s a small one, wasn’t fitting so well before… Of course, she’s only 1 month old NOW, so, yeah…) and she’s done well so far in a sling and just today a baby bjorn! :)
Christy commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:06 pmHaven’t had the chance to use any of them. They were not really around with my first child 12 years ago, but would love to have one for this child!!!!!!
Tay commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:40 pmBefore crawling, I wrapped him up moby-style. It was winter, so it was awesome and warm. Post-crawling he wants nothing to do with anything he can’t grab and eat, so our cheap-o frontpack carrier does the jobs. But it hurts my back. I’d love to try a different brand to see if that makes a difference.
Jill commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:48 pmNo baby yet, but one on the way in December. We’re overwhelmed with all the choices! We know we want an Ergo for when the babe is bigger, but haven’t decided which carrier we’ll start with. Baby wearing it is!
Emily commented on Jul 04 11 at 9:58 pmYay for baby wearing! I have a Moby wrap and a Baby K’tan (it’s similar to a moby by without all of the excess wrapping). I usually use the K’tan when I’m out or alone and about because the Moby is a little too difficult to wrap by myself still (my babe is 4 weeks old today), but they both work well for us since he’s still so small, though they are hot in this summer heat! My Sis-in-law just let me borrow her Bjorn but I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. We were thinking of getting an Ergo or a Boba (very similar to Ergo), bug if this Bjorn works out for us, I may invest on one of those instead!
Thanks for the great (and informative) post!
Liane commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:10 pmHi somebody gave me a baby bjorn carrier air it was slightly used but I love using it especially we live in a tropical country. I am a small person & my baby is getting heavy so it is really taking its toll on lower back but my LO enjoys riding in the bjorn I do not bring our stroller anymore for outings I just bring the bjorn with me..I also have a premaxx baby sling but I am not able to use it though I am much more comfortable with the bjorn.
Maren commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:35 pmI made a bucket-style sling, but sized it smaller so J wouldn’t be able to slump. He is a 25 pounder, and as long as I have the sling resting on my shoulder, he is in there nice and tight, and pretty well supported. I also have a mei-tei style that we LOVED (Freehand) for when he was smaller. That can do front or back as well, although it is quite the feat to get him on the back, worse than the Ergo. He loved to sleep in that. He can also sleep in the sling. I also just got an Ergo on one of those mama-deal websites. He does ok in the back, because he can look over my shoulder. I would love to try a Bjorn just for the outward-facing-ness of it.
kristen commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:39 pmI have a moby and an ergo. I haven’t used the ergo yet because he is still too small for it and it is way too hot out for the infant insert. However, I am loving baby wearing!
Gen commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:44 pmWe’ve been using our Moby for six months now and love it. Our Henry has enjoyed it and has ridden in it since his third day in the world. Now that he’s getting bigger (18+ pounds) it definitely stretches out a lot quicker. We’ve been test driving a friend’s ERGO. The back carry is pretty cool and Henry falls asleep super quick. I am wary about the heat in it because we live in the south and we regularly have 95 degree muggy days. I’d love to try out the Bjorn (as would the hubs) and let our Henry enjoy facing out again. I call it baby wearing too but it’s not very common in our area.
SJ commented on Jul 04 11 at 10:53 pmI have Ergo but have not used it yet because my baby is still too small. We currently use an 11 year old Bjorn that have been passed down from various family members. It’s getting pretty worn though so this new one would be great! I’ve also tried the ring sling but my baby didn’t seem to like it very much for some reason.
Veronica commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:25 pmHa! I don’t have a cute name for wearing the baby…but I really want a Bjorn! I bought an Infantino with my 1st, and my friends seemed much happier with the ease/comfort of the Bjorn. I would love for our new baby to enjoy the Bjorn!
Maren commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:37 pmI made a bucket-style sling, but sized it smaller so J wouldn’t be able to slump when he was a babe (it is super easy to have happen, so I can understand the concern.) He is a 25 pounder now, and as long as I have the sling resting on my shoulder, he is in there nice and tight, and pretty well supported on my hip. I also have a mei-tei style that we LOVED (Freehand) for when he was smaller. He loved to sleep in that. Cheryl commented on Jul 04 11 at 11:39 pmWe’ve used the Baby Bjorn and really like it. Now that #2 is due any day, we’d love to have another carrier.
Caron commented on Jul 05 11 at 9:10 amI have never used a baby carrier yet. I’m pregnant with my first and would love to get started off on the right foot with the BabyBjorn! Thanks for such a great giveaway.
Amelia commented on Jul 05 11 at 10:32 amI’ve never used one before, but since I am now expecting my first little one, I suppose I’ll have to try! Aint nothin cuter than baby-wearing. Thanks for the giveaway!
Jana commented on Jul 05 11 at 11:10 amI don’t have experience with baby wearing just yet, as I am expecting any day now! I do have a moby wrap, but I’m in the market for a more structured carrier like this as well. Would be thrilled to win this! Thanks Natalie!
Analisa commented on Jul 05 11 at 11:37 amI use the Baby Balboa adjustable sling (love it!), and my husband uses the Baby Bjorn Air (nice and breathable during the summer).
Bonnie commented on Jul 05 11 at 11:44 amI haven’t used any baby carriers yet – We’re only at 4 months. BUT, this is such great information!
I definitely plan to keep my little bug “on deck,” which I had honestly only ever heard refer to as baby carrying, and only as in “That is a spiffy baby carrier.” The idea of “babywearing” cracks me up to no end, although, I guess they are the hot Hollywood accessory these days, are they not?
Either way, Holbsfamily, keep up the wonderousness! Thank you!!!
Annabel commented on Jul 05 11 at 1:10 pmI love my Ergo but would love to try a new carrier with baby #2 (or let my sister try it out first who is expecting now!).
Barbara commented on Jul 05 11 at 1:17 pmi guess i call it baby-wearing… hmm… more often it was just “let’s put her in the sling!” I liked the fleece hot sling for when my daughter was a baby, and the mama’s milk adjustable sling. i bought a mei-tei when she was a toddler, but she wasn’t into it and it hurt my shoulders/neck like crazy.
i definitely find (properly-fitting/worn) slings to be the most convenient and comfortable, but might try out some new options when my second daughter is born this fall!
great post :)
Kara commented on Jul 05 11 at 2:06 pmWe have an Ergo and a Moby wrap, and while I like the Ergo a ton (still haven’t mastered wrapping the Moby snugly enough to not have to hold my son with one hand, kind of defeating the purpose of baby-wearing), it is really difficult to put on and adjust without an extra set of hands! I also wish there was an option to have the baby face out…
Emily commented on Jul 05 11 at 2:09 pmI was all about baby-wearing when my first was born. I read all this stuff and was so excited to purchase a sling. Then every time I put him in there he puked on us both. EVERY. TIME. So I abandoned the sling and just held him on my child-bearing hips like my momma told me. I would love a bjorn though for my next curtain-climber though!
Keri always commented on Jul 05 11 at 2:32 pmI made a few attempts at babywearing with my first child. Now that #3 is on her way, I’m ready to try again
JK commented on Jul 05 11 at 3:37 pmRight now I’m carrying my baby. He’s about as big as a fig and I saw him for the first time the other day and he was dancing. And for the first time I thought: yes, this is for real. Like really real.
So I’m researching some baby stuff. And I love all this advice. And it would be way cool if I won a baby carrier.
Aylin commented on Jul 05 11 at 3:55 pmI am currently 34 weeks pregnant and want to get one, but have been hemming and hawing and not making a decision. I do think the Baby Bjorn is great in that it’s also very manly, which will make my husband more likely to use it as well. We go to a lot of family events and I think ‘baby wearing’ would make a lot of sense and I know, I don’t want to always have a big stroller!
karen commented on Jul 05 11 at 4:06 pmThis will be our first baby in August…so we haven’t tried any other carriers yet. I think I like “Baby Toting”…what about a kangaroo pouch?
Jame commented on Jul 05 11 at 4:48 pmFor the first few months, I loved my Moby, I raved about it. The Squidgelet spent a part of pretty much every day in it, & since we lived in Vermont in the wintertime, it was so warm for him snuggled in there & it meant I could go outside! (can you say cabin fever?) but my husband never really enjoyed how complicated it was, plus now that the Squidgelet is really living up to his nickname & wanting to see everything, the Moby has been phased out for the Jeep carrier, kinda like the Bjorn. But we only have one, & I have to wash it pretty much every day…when I need it! So we are looking for a second one for me, & since the Bjorn’s the most popular I’ve read about it’d be awesome to try some Squidgelet hauling :)
Lindsay Willman commented on Jul 05 11 at 5:49 pmI have a Baby Bjorn that we’re borrowing from a friend and a Moby wrap. The Moby is my favorite, but my husband loves to wear our baby in the Bjorn.
Kortney commented on Jul 05 11 at 5:52 pmI love to “wear” my babies. I have a Moby Wrap that I love. It was great when my babies were little and I could wrap one up and then still carry around the other one. I don’t wear my babies as much as I would like because I have twins and I haven’t been able to win over my husband with the joy of “wearing” a baby. The problem comes when I wear one, what do I do with the other one? I’m a little scared to try the twin wrap with the Moby because my babies are not the same size (20 lbs. and about 15 lbs.). Any ideas? I would love a Bjorn though, then I could wear one and hubby could figure out the other one.
Missy commented on Jul 05 11 at 6:13 pmI really only use the Snugli because it’s what I have and it was handed down… It serves its purpose but admittedly it is a bit difficult to put it on by myself… As the people behind me at the baseball game a few weeks ago would attest as they watched me struggle (although didn’t offer any help :-) Other slings/wraps/carriers/etc. are just too expensive and I don’t have the money to get another one. I like the term babywearing just cause it sounds all trendy… but babycarrying makes sense too.
Julie commented on Jul 05 11 at 6:30 pmI have two Moby wraps that I made myself! I used different fabric than Moby brand (less stretch and lighter weight – important for scorching AZ!) and much less expensive! I also have a ring sling that I’m still getting used to but think I love?
I totally agree that the Moby is literally a drag when putting on in public! (Buh-dum, ching!)
I would LOVE the Bjorn to keep up my “baby wearing”!
Janessa commented on Jul 05 11 at 7:37 pmI have used a Bjorn, which my little guy didn’t like much until he could face out. Then he loved it. I like baby wearing. They are the cutest accessories ever!
Kim B commented on Jul 05 11 at 7:42 pmI’ve never used a baby carrier, I’d love to try one!! A FREE one perhaps… ; )
Julie commented on Jul 05 11 at 7:55 pmI haven’t used one yet, as I’m just 6 months pregnant with our first. I have been drooling over every type of carrier imaginable, and finally settled on a BabyBjorn, despite the cost. Winning one would be amazing! I have only really heard it called Baby Wearing, so that’s what I’ve been calling it. Please please please let luck be on my side!
kayla commented on Jul 05 11 at 11:56 pmi’m due with my second babe [only 8 weeks, heaven help the nausea!] and would love a carrier. my daughter hated her sling and i wasn’t in love with having to wrangle it over my head. my hair! i actually showered and styled it somedays and then messed it up with the sling. live and learn…
Emily commented on Jul 06 11 at 1:15 pmI’ve used the Moby Wrap for my baby-wearing, and it’s worked great. It is a little tricky to get just right, and my little guy is so long that I’ve had trouble getting him to sit comfortably in the wrap, and he hates when his legs actually hang out. But when he gets in it comfortably, it’s worked wonders on calming my colicky little man.
SarahnWill commented on Jul 06 11 at 7:35 pmJust found out we are pregnant with our first and have nothing!
Tori commented on Jul 06 11 at 8:36 pmI’m expecting my first at the end of this month and am trying to decide which carrier is best. I’ve heard great things about the Bjorn and would love to try it out for myself! I’m thinking I could get used to this Baby Wearing business.
Elizabeth B commented on Jul 06 11 at 9:37 pmHaven’t used a carrier yet but I’ve been looking into the bjorn carriers because they have such good reviews and appear to be of good quality. Don’t care for the idea of a sling…makes me nervous (not enough structure maybe). Oh and I love the wording of baby schlepping :)
Nichole commented on Jul 06 11 at 9:43 pmI used the Moby for months and months! I cleaned in it, hiked in it, kayaked in it, mall walked with it. . . Loved it for wearing the baby!
I have a hankering after an Ergo or a Beco. . . .
Liz Sanders commented on Jul 07 11 at 12:15 amI call it baby wearing and am proud to say that I started wearing my first born in 2000 and he is now 11 years old! We started first with the baby bijorn, and now with my fourth child,a girl I have switched between the bjorn and the Moby Wrap. I must say that I fell in love with the Moby Wrap. it is a wonder thing!
Liz23 commented on Jul 07 11 at 1:55 amI am using a snugli but I really want to try something else….
Linda Meyers-Gabbard commented on Jul 07 11 at 6:59 amWhen I was toteing a kid around we didn’t use carriers we used our arms. I am entering as a soon to be Aunt. My baby brother that I toted around and his wife are expecting their first child in December. I would love to win this for them. Si the can tote their new baby around. If I win I’d choose orange color since my sister in law is a huge Bengals fan.
Lisa commented on Jul 07 11 at 9:49 amI did not do baby wearing with my kids but would love to win this for my daughter who is now all grown-up!
Rachel commented on Jul 07 11 at 4:04 pmI would love to try a baby bjorn! We have an old snugli that someone donated to us for our first and I’ve used it for all three of my babies. I used it the most with the third while taking my oldest to and from Kindergarten because I could hold an umbrella over both of us (we live in the NW). I like the forward facing pack and the concept of carrying the baby, but it’s not very easy to get the baby in and out of the snugli and the back straps can dig in a bit. I would also love to try a moby wrap–they look so much more comfortable and every mom I talk to says it’s really easy to use when you get used to it (I suppose you could say that about anything, but I got really used to my snugli and it’s still rather beastly to take chubby babies in and out of it.).
Elizabeth B commented on Jul 07 11 at 4:19 pmWould love to win this!! My two week-old is just now the minimum weight to use this!!
Denise commented on Jul 07 11 at 9:12 pmI have an ergo and a moby and love them both! I call it baby wearing…my baby hates the stroller in stores, but loves being “worn” I would love to win this!
Karen A. commented on Jul 07 11 at 9:51 pmI really enjoy babywearing (that is a bizarre term, isn’t it?), but figuring out the right carrier has taken a lot of trial and error. As a newborn, the moby was my go-to carrier, but now that mine’s a little bigger (3.5 months old), she seems to enjoy my ring sling, as it feels a lot like she’s being held by my arms in the position she likes most. I also have a beco gemini, but I don’t think she’s quite big enough yet for it to be comfortable for her. I’ve actually been really interested in giving a baby bjorn a try, as it seems like it would work a lot like the beco, but would fit her smaller frame better.
AmandaP commented on Jul 08 11 at 9:08 amI am clueless since I’m expecting my first this winter. I prefer the term “baby-schlepping” since it just sounds funny. Wow, there is a lot of baby stuff out there. I feel like my head is going to explode when I go into Babies R Us.
Natasha commented on Jul 08 11 at 9:20 amI don’t have children yet but I really want to try the moby and the baby bjorn! My parents carried me in a snugli so I think baby wearing is in my blood. Thanks for the giveaway, Natalie!
Kari commented on Jul 08 11 at 9:26 amI would love to win this and for this baby to get here so I can stop ‘wearing’ her in my belly! 6 days until due date!
Laura commented on Jul 08 11 at 9:37 amOoh, I love the Bjorn! Like I love air, or sleep, or water. I have a Bjorn Air which has been great for my spring/summer baby but her tiny little butt won’t outgrow it by the winter and it would be lovely to have a Classic to keep her rear warm in Boston. I can do everything in the Bjorn except nurse, bake, and bathe (yes, I pee with her strapped in it, weird mom alert).
Katie L. commented on Jul 08 11 at 9:58 amI use a ring sling the first few months, and then I love my moby wrap! I haven’t really ever called it anything (baby wearing, etc.). Would love to try this out!
Kristi H commented on Jul 08 11 at 10:07 amI would love the Bjorn carrier! I don’t have one and would really like to try one…
Karla commented on Jul 08 11 at 10:25 amAt first I used the moby wrap..bad idea. I am 5’2” and it kept getting tangled all around me. I LOVE my Ergo for the toddler (27lbs at 15 months whoot!) but it has no face out option. Looking forward to trying the bjorn for the next one!
HannahJo commented on Jul 08 11 at 10:32 amI love love the original bjorn carrier! I am about to have my first baby in Feb (!) and cannot wait to lug the little blob around with me! And I love that these are so easy to put on yourself! dream!
Leah Taylor commented on Jul 08 11 at 11:41 amI have this super old hand-me-down carrier. My baby loved it but it was physically impossible to put him in and out myself, which defeats the purpose right?!! I tried the ergo once and couldn’t believe how easy it was. I have always heard that bjorns were amazing though, winning one would just make my day!!!
Melissa commented on Jul 08 11 at 1:24 pmI loved the Moby when my little guy was just a newbie, wore him all over the city and he always fell fast asleep! Now we use the organic Bjorn carrier, which is really nice though the color is not always the best cause he likes to eat the front and it get a bit wet looking :( I would love to try out the new retro colors!
Andrea commented on Jul 08 11 at 3:32 pmI have tried all of 2 carriers. A sling and a front carrier thingy…brand? I didn’t like either. I tend to carry my baby (my 3rd girl) everywhere and my arms are usually exhausted in a hurry, but getting some actual muscle on them instead of just bird arms.
I would love to have a carrier that is actually comfortable and not awkward for the baby. Plus, winning something is always fun…or so I’ve heard ;)
Jana commented on Jul 08 11 at 4:28 pmI used a bjorn with my first and loved it, but just purchased an ergo (i got a good deal!) to use with my next. i put my 2 year old in the ergo just a few days ago as we were walking around the city to go see fireworks and it was awesome. i love that it puts a majority of the weight on your hips, so my back wasn’t hurting like it did with the bjorn.
Jessie commented on Jul 08 11 at 4:32 pmI’ve never worn a baby carrier (am currently in my 31st week) but I’m highly intrigued by anything that will let me snuggle and be hands free at the same time!
Jennie commented on Jul 08 11 at 4:37 pmPlease pick me! Baby #4 needs a new carrier. The others have worn the old one out.

Christina commented on Jul 09 11 at 12:15 amWe tried a Moby wrap but my son hates it since he likes being ‘free’,which includes no swaddling. Was looking at a Ergobaby but hasn’t been in the budget yet
kara commented on Jul 09 11 at 12:34 amLet’s see. . .with my first, I used a hot sling, back when they were sized rather than adjustable. I loved it when she was tiny, because I learned how to get her in there such that she was in a more vertical position, but held there very snugly, so I was always certain that she was not in a position where she could suffocate or fall out. It only worked that well because it fit me perfectly. But then I stopped using it after she was just a few months old because with her being just a little bit bigger, I always felt like she was way too cramped in there. I felt like her legs were too squished into her body or something. . .it just didn’t look comfortable. So when my second was born, I bought an adjustable sling (to accommodate her changing size) in a stretchy fabric (which I thought would help the squish factor too). . .we used it some, but I still just never felt like I could get her in there exactly right, for her to feel comfortable and for me to feel like she wasn’t going to either suffocate or fall out. So with my second the carrier that I ended up using the most was a Baby Bjorn original that is ANCIENT. Like, seriously. A hand-me-down from a sister in law with much older kids, it is the most un-stylish thing you’ve ever seen. I think my sister in law must have bought it in the early 90′s. . .it’s two fabrics, navy blue and a red/green/navy plaid. Doesn’t that sound SO 90′s?? It’s awful! But I loved how it worked, so I swallowed my pride and wore it a lot anyway. I didn’t have the money to buy a new one when I had been given one that worked just fine! So now that I’m planning to get pregnant for the third time in the next several months, I would LOVE to have a NEW B.B. original. . .since I’ve already used one and love it, but my inner stylish girl really needs the newer, less plaid version!
By the way, the other carrier I used with both babies from 7 or 8 months up to toddler age, which I absolutely LOVED: a dirt cheap option made by Playtex (like, the company that makes bottles) called the Hip Hammock. It was seriously like $25 at Babies R Us and I bought it on a whim one day when we were out shopping and I had forgotten to bring my sling. I ended up using it every single day, for hours at a time. It was NEVER uncomfortable for my back/neck/shoulders, and my babies both absolutely loved it. I think it felt a lot less constricting than a front carrier for them, because it doesn’t keep you in full body contact. It really is just like when you’re carrying them around in one arm on your hip, except that you don’t have to use your arm to hold them, so you can use your arm for other things and your muscles don’t seize up on you. I was so good at multitasking in that thing, I could walk around the mall doing errands, with bags in one hand, while circling the other arm around the baby’s back to hold a bottle in her mouth while we walked. People were constantly stopping me to say how amazing it was. . .probably because it looked as easy as it was. My little one would just lay back into my arm and drink her bottle like she was getting the royal treatment, and we were both so comfortable. I also did 90% of my housework with her in it, from carrying laundry back and forth to vacuuming to doing the dishes (this was all my first baby–clearly a child who was NEVER happy unless she was being held. I used it with my second as well, but she was a much more laid-back baby, and I didn’t have to have her on me at all times like I did the first. I could actually put the second one down to take a shower or do the dishes and she was fine, so we didn’t have to use carriers as much). Love it!
Capucine commented on Jul 09 11 at 10:44 amI’ve never used a carrier because I don’t need one… yet. But I will and I COVET a Bjorn. I feel like carriers might be the new shoes. I’ll start with one and all of a sudden, oh no, there’s no room in my closet anymore! I prefer the term baby-shlepping… sounds way more rad
Katie commented on Jul 09 11 at 12:33 pmI have used a moby wrap and love it. I would loooove a Bjorn because my baby is getting bigger and would love to be facing outwards! I call it baby wearing too…
Annie commented on Jul 17 11 at 9:34 pmI have not used any of these, but I would love to! I like the ergo sport and I call it baby wearing. :)
