Little Bean and Little Guy "Talking"
My first born (turning 6 in 2 weeks OMG!) has been patiently waiting for some level of interaction from the Little Bean. Anything.
“New baby brother” didn’t quite compute with him. I’m pretty sure he expected a 3 year old to come home from the hospital with us.
What he got was a mindless infant who didn’t even know he was there until this morning…

Mindy commented on May 31 11 at 10:27 amOMG so freakin’ adorable. I bet the little guy is thrilled! What a great big brother he will be.
Patty commented on May 31 11 at 10:54 amMy boys are also 6 years apart (with my girl in the middle), I clearly remember my older son wanting/asking when will his brother be able to play with him etc. Now that they are almost 12 and 6, I really enjoy seeing them play together, yes even the wrestling around on the living room floor part! I sometimes have to remind the older one how much he wanted he brother to be able to play with him when the little guy gets on his nerves! It’s all good though and I bet one day you’ll be reminding Ryan too!
LauraWV commented on May 31 11 at 11:09 amThat’s awesome. I remember the same thing with my two (although the oldest was 2 at the time). Such a great tiny little payoff for Little Guy having Lil Bean finally able to respond. Oh, the fun they’ll have in the future! You can tell they both know it’s coming, and can barely wait.
Sarah commented on May 31 11 at 1:41 pmLil Bean is gone so BIG! Such cuties.

Amanda commented on May 31 11 at 7:48 pmIs there a video to this? Is it just me? I’ve loaded in Chrome and IE and still no video. I wanted to see them interacting :(
Amanda commented on May 31 11 at 8:03 pmIs that a fit bloggin sticker on the bouncy?
SO SWEET!!!! I love watching mine together (4 years apart). They are currently running through the house chasing daddy…who’s been gone for 10 days. It’s a glorious sound! :)
Tina commented on May 31 11 at 10:04 pmAwww, so sweet how the little guy held is baby brother’s hand in both of his.
Brandi commented on Jun 01 11 at 9:01 amHmmm, I can’t see the video either :( BUT I’m glad little guy got some recognition from the little bean! I’m sure that makes him excited for all those adventures he has planned in his head :)

Ryan commented on Jun 01 11 at 11:47 amMy oldest and second born are 9-1/2 years apart. The first few months my oldest definitely was bored with the baby, but once he was about 3+ months old my oldest has been actively playing with the little one. I now have an 11 year old and almost 2 year old and they enjoy each other tremendously so far.
Lori commented on Jun 01 11 at 1:04 pmThat is just too precious!
Debby commented on Jun 01 11 at 2:58 pmIt only gets better! We are just a few months ahead of you and it is wonderful to see your kids interact. Soon the older will entertain the younger, and you’ll have a free minute or so more than usual!
